Author has written 7 stories for Fullmetal Alchemist, Stargate: Atlantis, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, and Batman.

Since I've actually started posting here now I thought I should probably update this. I write Full metal Alchemist, Stargate Atlantis and Firefly fanfic, I tend to write long stories instead of one-shots because my brain hates me. They won't go up on site until I have a decent handful of chapters and can post one every fortnight or so for the next two months-this makes me feel like I'm more likely to finish them. There are a couple of exceptions of course, the short one-shot up here now is firmly blamed on The Scars of Dracula, which has to be the worst Dracula movie ever made just for the way Christopher Lee dies in that one. (Hammer Horror was fantastic...)

I'm a capoeirista, I mention this because I use things from this martial art and the amazing culture behind and around it in my FMA fics pretty regularly. Not everything I use relating to capoeira in these fics is accurate, such as the fact I tend to link it to several old West African (ahem...Fon, Ashanti, Yoruba) religions and mythologies, although we do use some of the language these traditions do. I also can't speak Portugese, so my translations or spelling of words or names for things in capoeira will not always be very accurate.

I'm mildly obsessed with West African myths, this comes out and dances in my FMA fics, sometimes literally.

I love Sassoon's poetry, I don't think I've ever read anything else quite so gut-wrenchingly moving. I quote him extensively in every story that involves war, conflict, violence or pointing a gun at another human being...which'd be pretty much all of them. Usually he'll be quoted at the beginning with his name underneath the poem, sometimes one of the characters will quote him, in which case I'll note it at the top. Chances are if it's a war poem in one of my fics, it's one of Sassoon's. Owen does also occassionally make an appearance, and I have been known to quote Sappho-again these'll be referenced.

Blake's 7 is still the high bar of sci-fi and until someone resurrects Terry Nation it always will be. That Firefly is the closest anything recent has come to that level of brilliance is the highest praise I can think of. I reference Blake's 7 occasionally, I won't write it.

I like Envy, he rocks my socks, he deserves good fics. I like the Wraith, esspecially Todd who is made of awesome and deserves very good fics. Firefly is so brilliant I have nothing to add to its cannon, so I'll just shove them towards other stories and see what happens...Gods help us all if I ever find a way sensible way to give River Tam alchemy. Please read the stories, it makes the ferrets stop chewing on my brains. :D
