Author has written 6 stories for Digimon/Pokemon, Digimon, Codename: Kids Next Door, and Naruto. Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind,”--Theodore Geisel aka Dr. Seuss I used to be a Digimon/Pokemon fanfic writer, but I've now laid those two giants to rest and have spanned into the enormous world of Naruto and the spaz-tastic show Codename: Kids Next Door. My updating pattern is pretty random (it takes a while for a chapter since I'm in law school and all), but the chapters I chock out tend to be pretty long as a result of that. I also value character development and plot over action and character derailment (unless there is a reason for the derailment. A VALID reason, not a deus ex machina). So no matter how much I actually dislike a character, I will NOT result to character bashing. As far as pairings go, I do have personal preferences which would take too long to list, but it doesn't mean I won't be open to reading about others, same sex or not (though yuri doesn't really interest me that much). That said, I'm a bit anal about characters morphing out of character for the purpose of pairing them with someone else unless it's cited as a crack pairing. Then it's all good! XD Favorites: Anime: Digimon, Pokemon, Naruto, Bleach, Fullmetal Alchemist, Yugioh, Shaman King, Cowboy Bebop, Gurren Lagann, Death Note, Afro Samurai, xxxHolic (the only shoujo-ish thing I enjoy watching), Black Lagoon, and D.Grayman. I still like the Dragonball series and Gundam Seed to some degree (more for kicks now), and I currently have a like/indifferent relationship with Code Geass. In terms of manga, I am currently half-interested in the crapsack world of Berserk. Any other shows: Codename: Kids Next Door, Avatar: The Last Airbender, the DCAU (especially Batman the Animated series and the Justice League series), Xiaolin Showdown, Teen Titans, Invader Zim, The Fairly Odd Parents, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Kim Possible, and Ed, Edd, n' Eddy. I also retain most of my love for the old Disney shows of long ago (like Ducktales and Gargoyles)...except for the Gummy Bears and Bonkers. :P Live Action: Angel, Scrubs, The Office, House, the Daily Show, the Colbert Report, Glee, and occasionally stuff on the Food Network (even though I can't cook). Video Games: Okami, The Legend of Zelda series, Super Smash Bros. (all of them), Tales of Symphonia and Abyss, the Clash of Ninja series, Persona 3, Kingdom Hearts (not 2), Animal Crossing, the Golden Sun series, Final Fantasy VI, and the Paper Mario series (ESPECIALLY Thousand Year Door). I'm also quite familiar with the Metal Gear series and the fighting games Street Fighter, Guilty Gear, and Blaz Blue though I've never played any of them. Books: Harry Potter series (though I'm less partial to Book 2 and parts of Book 6; Voldy's backstory was great though), Ender's Game and the Shadow series (mostly b/c of Peter), Wuthering Heights, The Great Gatsby, Never Let Me Go, the Thrawn trilogy, and A Series of Unfortunate Events. Percent Completion Rate (Chapters): Current Works: Naruto: Future Works: Rated: M for violence, language, disturbing elements (such as forced drugs, torture, mind-rape, and psychological disorders), possible gore, sex (blushes), and LOTS of angst...but mostly violence. YAY VIOLENCE! This story is probably the darkest and most disturbing of my fics so I'm debating whether or not to tone it down for this site when I put it up (...probably not though some chapters will be posted onto my livejournal if the watchdogs take offense). Other than that, yeah...it might take a while to release it considering I have to finish Operation RESCUE first. Naruto: Rated: M for language, violence, angst, yaoi, and possible adult themes. There will also be character death. The Paths We Walk: Book Three-The Path of Deliverance: The war between the yokai and the ophanin-human alliance has now nearly spanned almost four years and neither side shows signs of giving up. But the conflict has taken its toll upon its unwilling participants. With Orochimaru pulling the strings on his younger brother's reign, corruption is everywhere. Riaru must finally abandon her naivety to become a leader in the eyes of her people. Sasuke must forsake his revenge and fulfill a lifelong promise to Cassandra. And Kazuki must walk his own path, away from the persuasions of others. Rated: M for language, violence, yaoi (not explicit though), and slight angst (though not nearly as much as the overload in Book 2). Also, more character death. The Paths We Walk-The Musical Edition: the story of love, discovery, betrayal, and hope now enters the world of theater as the characters rehash the trilogy onstage through song (both old and new). Rated: T (depending on content of song lyrics and of course, the story elements of violence and language) Finished Works: Naruto: Trademark OCs and items: (if you want to use them, you'll have to ask me on your reviews or something) SOON TO OWN (in KND) Minako Kodachi, Akiko Mori, Dr. Rath, Ying-ten Grenade, Han, Zipporah, Medea, Monet Bagneris, Gina Brown, Mikiko Iwata, Hiroyuki Sakamoto, Daniel Wilson, the Venegas family, the Chaudharis, Vlad, the Kaldoreis, and the rest of the SBD Assassination syndicate. Oh yeah, I also have recently decided to take up deviantart so here's the link to it: http://swiftly-burning-ice.deviantart.com/ The cover for The Paths We Walk: Book One and The Saga of Destiny should be there. | |||||||
