About me:

I'm 21 years old, in college, majoring in international studies. I love love love reading, and discovered fanfiction, and thus a new love, less than a year ago. Literature-wise, I generally go for classic novels, although I have a not-so-secret attachment to young adult fantasy literature. I got into manga a couple years ago and I started reading fan fiction because of my interest (read: obsession) with it, primarily Naruto and Bleach.

About my writing:

I write for fun. I'm aware that I'm not a famous novelist in the making, but I love the characters I write about and, to be honest, I started writing because I couldn't stand waiting for other people to write about them - I needed stories immediately! That being said, I'm afraid I'm not a terribly quick update-er. College can do that to a person.

On a small side note, I generally send review replies, just as a thanks for reviewing and to answer any questions.

About specific fics:

About Minutiae: it's a companion piece to Nomenclature, although it could probably (possibly?) be read separately. In my opinion, however, they're best read together. Basically it's a series of conversations between Rangiku and Matsumoto which I'm using to look into their growing friendship and their respective reactions to the events that will be occurring in Nomenclature. Each conversation is no more than a page in Word, which is more just a personal challenge than anything else, and each one will start with Nanao answering the phone and end with a click as one of them hangs up. I know, I know, I should really be concentrating on Nomenclature but ... Minutiae was just begging to be written, and I couldn't say no - it's ridiculously fun to write. :)
