29 July 2009: I've changed things a little in the Fair Wanderer series so that it is no longer necessary to read the prequel. Hope that clears things up a bit! ;)

Hey everyone, I’m Araloth the Random, Elf of Doriath, and a strange one at that. On a more mundane level I am a (now 18 year old! YESSS!) Aussie, inventor of miruvodka and the phrase censored for your mental protection. (Yes, that was me!) I am Tolkien-obsessed and I fangirl Caranthir Son of Feanor. Nice to meet you.

I love Tolkien and I’ve read The Silmarillion about twenty times, which I know is a little obsessive but who cares? I also like singing, playing the piano, Orlando Bloom, Shakespeare, Latin, black, Elvish, Good Charlotte and pizza.

There’s also a lot of things I don’t like and being the dismal girl that I am there are a lot of them, so I won’t bother trying to list them all!

I write anything from parody to angst and even a little romance, so if you like variety you've come to the right place. :) There's quite a bit that I haven't published as yet, so hang on! I've set up an alternate account for some of my other stories here at Araloth's Randomness, so you'll probably see something there soon.

Not liking slash does not make someone a homophobe. Tolkien being a Catholic, like myself, I doubt very much that he would have approved, given his traditional values. Also, I don't flame - I give concrit, and only occasionally. If I really don't like a story I will most likely not review. I don't intend to be hurtful. If you have received concrit from me it means your story has potential but needs work, and I'm happy to help you with that. Having said that, I'm usually pretty soft when I review. :)
