I think it's mostly because I can't imagine why anyone would actually care who I am or why I'm posting my drivel on the net... Meh. All right. About me... I'm 30. Single, white female in the non creepy way. Have spent almost my entire adult life in school -- why I keep going back to get more degrees, I can't honestly tell you. I think I'm a glutton for punishment. English Lit is my thing. I'm a medievalist mostly, though I've recently branched out into Renaissance drama for my PhD dissertation (which is on hold now until further notice due to lack of funds. That's right -- sucks to be me!). I love all things Supernatural and am sort of new to the scene. Didn't know what a gem she was until late August of '08. Shocking, I know! And now I'm a SN fan fiction junkie. Like Bridget Jones I anticipate dying alone being eaten by wild dogs, only with the addition of my hoard of cats mewling about crying for their kibble as my carcass rots. That, or I will marry Jensen Ackles and have lots of babies... I can't decide which one I'd prefer. I gladly welcome comments, reviews, and criticisms, so long as they're constructive and aren't meant to hurt or insult. I'd like to actually be a decent writer some day, so if you want to slam me please do it in such a way that will help me grow and improve. Soul-crushing don't-quit-your-day-job type comments aren't really what I need these days (see above re: lack of funds to finish my PhD). And that's me in a nutshell. | |||||||
