Author has written 12 stories for Garrison's Gorillas, and Rat Patrol. Hi there. Well I suppose I should introduce myself, especially seeing as I have 10 or so stories posted on FF. My name is Cathy, I live in Melbourne, Australia and am on the downhill side of 50. That means that I was actually around when all the great old shows first came to air. Pity we only had an old black and white tv in those days. Mind you colour hadn't been thought of yet anyway. I have many memories of myself and others with our school girl crushes extolling the deeds of our heroes and oh, there were many. Johnny Lancer, Heath Barkley, Jess Harper, Hitch, Chief, Flint McCullogh, Bronco Lane, to name a few but i'm sure you all get my drift. I grew up in a world of war and western shows. Which probably explains my love of horses (the westerns that is) or my love of westerns because of my involvement with horses. Each fed the other. That is my new girl, Lipstick featured in my avatar. I have six horses/ponies and spend 6 days a week coaching riding, including riding for the disabled (RDA) at my local centre. So you will have to excuse me if on occasion a horse tends to rear its head in one of my stories. As to my stories I have around 30 Big Valley stories posted on the Big Valley Writing Desk (Yuku board). All my other stories are posted here, Garrison's Gorillas and now The Rat Patrol. More shows may make an appearance in the future. I'll admit I'm certainly not the best writer out there, woefully inadequate at times, compared to some of the talent on the board but if you like a bit of hurt/comfort and adventure for your favourite hero then please come and take a peek. | |||||||
