Let the music take control
Burn the fire of rock and roll
Let the music move your soul
Burn the fire of rock and roll
-- 'Fire of Rock' by Racer X

Name: Sorry, that's classified.
Online alias(s): My main alias is ChaosGithzerai, spawning from my D&D days. I also go by LionHeart from back when I had an obsession with Final Fantasy VIII. There's also my light and dark sides: Dragoon of Light and Dragoon of Chaos, and last, but not least, Shuurai. If you want to make it easy, I respond to 'Chaos'.
Gender: Female
Country: The good ol' United States of America
Age: Twenty-six. Yes, I'm old. :P
Date of birth: May 23, 1983
Bad habits: For one, I curse way, way, way too much, especially when I'm getting my arse handed to me on video games. I'm also pretty jumpy, especially when somebody suddenly just talks to me out of nowhere. I also have a temper that's quite easy to set off, and I also have a problem with biting my nails. I'm also quite shy when I've just joined a community or message board, or when I'm talking to somebody on AIM for the first time and tend not to say much at first. I also have a bad habit of apologizing more than I should.

My biggest problem; however, is my reclusive nature, which has kept me from making and keeping many friends in the past. There are times when I'll just suddenly disappear from the 'net for a while then come back, which has caused me to lose many potential friendships many times over.

The icon was due for yet another change for some time now, and as with the last icon I had, the art for the icon I'm using now was done by the awesome Nefertili and used with her permission. The icon itself was in turn made for me by my best friend because I cannot make icons or do any kind of art on the computer to save my life...

Pairings

This has its own section now because it grew too damn big and became absolute chaos to read in its current form, blech. I don't mind if you want to ask me why I like/don't like the pairings I have listed, I'll gladly answer, but please don't try to forcefully shove your pairings in my face, especially if I don't like them because I'll just ignore you if you do, it's very rude and uncalled for. I'll also ignore you if you dare to flame me for liking/disliking certain pairings as well. People are entitled to their own opinions and I avoid what I dislike and refrain from starting shipping battles.

I will read almost any pairing, even most of those I dislike, if it is written well and makes sense, even slash and femslash (though I don't care much for these). If I can survive a Darc x Lilia story and not keel over, then I can read pretty much anything. Just don't hope for a review though, because I very rarely review anything I read that's not my cup of tea. Regarding Pokémon x human fics, though it's not really my thing, I'll still read them and I admit that if things go well with the two projects I'm currently working on, I'll probably end up actually writing one sometime in the future.

The only exception goes for Waveguidershipping (Lucario x Mew) fics, which I loathe. I absolutely refuse to even touch them because they bother me and make my skin crawl just thinking about that pairing. It's not just because I hate Mew, it's because of what happened in the Lucario movie that makes me not like this ship, but for spoiler reasons, I won't go into that.

Favorite Pairings

InuYasha: Sesshoumaru x Kikyou.
Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits: Kharg x Paulette, Maru x Bebedora.
Street Fighter: Vega x Chun-Li, Ryu x Sakura.
Killer Instinct: T. J. Combo x B. Orchid, Tusk x Maya.
Tekken: Jin x Julia, Devil Jin x Julia, Howoarang x Xiaoyu.
Mass Effect: Garrus x female Shepard, Turian x Human species pairing, Thane x female Shepard, Drell x Human species pairing.
Avatar: The Last Airbender: Aang x Toph (This is my absolute favorite out of all the Avatar ships I support.), Aang x Katara, Zuko x Katara, Sokka x Suki, Sokka x Yue.
Pokémon: Dialga x Lucario (TimeAurashipping. My PokéPoké OTP, and not the Lucario from the 8th movie either.), Grovyle x The Hero (Nostalgiashipping, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon 2. NOT the 'default' Hero from the television specials, either. Eww.)

Least Favorite Pairings

InuYasha: Sesshoumaru x Kagome.
Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits: Darc x Lilia.
Street Fighter: Ryu x Chun-Li.
Killer Instinct: Jago x B. Orchid (They're brother and sister.)
Tekken: Jin x Xiaoyu, Hworang x Julia.
Mass Effect: Septimus x Sha'ira, Turian x Asari species pairing.
Avatar: The Last Airbender: Sokka x Toph, Zuko x Mai (This ship is very bland to me.).
Pokémon: Lucario x Mew (Waveguidershipping), Grovyle x Celebi (Rendshipping, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon 2. Celebi gets on my nerves in that game.).

Friends

Devi Serene - She wrote a great Mass Effect story and she's currently working on a Pokémon story that looks quite promising.

Nefertili - She's written some very good InuYasha stories, and she's the one who helped me to give Palkia a chance.

Notes From a Jaded Authoress

Though I love Native American history and culture, I myself am not Native American, though I wish I was. If I ever use anything for my stories in the Mass Effect fandom, I always make sure that I've done research beforehand before I write anything down.

For the last damn time: Please, don't put my one-shots on story alert! It really makes me angry. If a story of mine is marked as 'complete', then that's what it is. Finished. Done. COMPLETE. Thank you.

I've decided that I am no longer going to write stories for the Mass Effect section, and I will be removing Song of the Rachni sometime in the near future because I've placed it on permanent hiatus. I've hit a wall on that one and can't find any way around it, plus; I had originally intended to only post four one-shots, then I ended up biting off more than I could chew trying to write more to make everyone who reads my stories happy. I've retconned and done away with Truth and Secrets. That one just didn't fit in well with my other stories, and it would make me cringe every time I'd look at it. It just took too damn long for the XBox to be fixed, and when it finally was, I had lost all interest in playing Mass Effect. I'm very, very sorry for this, everyone. However, when Mass Effect 2 comes out, I may try my hand at writing a novelization of it if I don't have my hands full by then.

I'm now writing stories for the Pokémon section, as those games are my first love, and I know more about them and feel more comfortable in that fandom. I know I won't get as many reviews on my stories as I did in the Mass Effect section, but I don't care about that anymore. I'll still come back to the Mass Effect section to read stories and catch up on multi-chapter stories I've been reading (which I'm behind on, eep..), but I won't be posting anything else there.

I've enabled PMs again, but if one more person uses it just to bitch at me about writing more Mass Effect stories, I will disable it again and leave it that way.

Current writing projects: Timeless (Pokémon, work-in-progress. Currently on hiatus, but I'm working on reviving it, I swear.), The Truth Behind the Eclipse: The Last Shadowborn (Pokémon, multi-chapter fic and a second collab with Nefertili.)

Complete projects: A Lengthening of Shadows (Pokémon, two-part work-in-progress collab with Nefertili.)

Planned Projects That Chaos May or May Not Get Around To (In noparticular order.)
Archetype
-- (Mass Effect) Thane x female Shepard and a novelization of Mass Effect 2 pretty much.
More Than Human -- (Killer Instinct) A novelization spanning across both games. Warning: Will contain a few original characters.
Recollections -- (Pokémon) A post PMD2 two-shot fic which takes place after the second storyline of the games. Though I normally ignore it, here, I will be counting the Explorers of the Sky ending.
Time Goes By -- (Pokémon) Nostalgiashipping, Pre-Pokémon Mystery Dungeon 2. Yes, this will be a Pokémon x human fic, and the only one I'll ever write because I feel that the mentioned pairing is a special case due to events that happen in the actual games.

I can't guarantee that I'll get to any of these since my writing muse is the most fickle being in existance, but I'm going to try my damndest to.

Writing idols: Melissa Marr, Erin Hunter, Jane Yolen, Clare Bell, James Patterson, Lloyd Alexander, K. A. Applegate, and all my friends here on FFNet (you know who you are!)

Mass Effect Stories in Chronological Order

Blue Water -- A conversation between Garrus and Shepard which takes place after Noveria.

Storm Gray -- Takes place right after the Wrex confrontation on Virmire.

My Fate -- Sort of takes place during Storm Gray, Kaidan's thoughts on Shepard and Virmire.

A Last Farewell -- Takes place right after Virmire and My Fate, Shepard remembers Kaidan.

Moving Forward -- Takes place shortly after A Last Farewell, during the night the Normandy travels to Ilos.

To Be Forgiven -- Takes place the next day after Moving Forward, and right after the defeat of Sovereign.

Song of the Rachni -- Takes place two weeks after the defeat of Sovereign. (On permanant hiatus, will be removed in the future, sorry.)

Characters I Love

Mass Effect

Garrus Vakarian -- I absolutely adore him. He's got a really sweet personality if you help him see the light, even though he has the appearance of looking straight through others, rather than at them. He and the female Shepard character have a very wonderful chemistry together that I absolutely wish the devs at BioWare would touch down on. Garrus is also death incarnate with a sniper rifle.

Thane -- Even though not much info has been released about him yet, I absolutely adore this guy. A lizard-like guy who's able to kill people effortlessly with his bare hands? Hell yeah!

Pokémon

Dialga -- My absolute favorite Legendary, dethroning Lugia. Even though the tenth movie portrayed Dialga as nothing but a savage brute, I still found myself cheering for him. He just has a very nice character design, and he saved my arse many times in Diamond after I got him. And on the Spear Pillar stage on Super Smash Bros. Brawl, he's just so awesome... even if he's just in the background.

Grovyle -- My absolute favorite Grass-type Pokémon even before I saw his anime and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon 2 counterparts, both of whom are very awesome and badass. Grovyle's overall design and the personalities of both his anime incarnation and his PMD2 incarnation are very well done.

Characters I Loathe

Mass Effect

Sha'ira the Asari Consort -- I. HATE. Her. Why? Not because she has a Turian general in love with her (though that makes me sick just thinking about it...). but because she chooses to give herself out to people who've done favors for her. Ugh. When she began rubbing up against my female Shepard character, I just wanted to blow her damn head off. And the worst part is that I can't be rotten to her like I want to be, so I had to practically force myself to be nice so she'd keep her hands to herself...

Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits

Lilia -- Until Sha'ira came along, Lilia was the character I most hated in any video game. Why? Because she's a canon-Sue, that's why. She has no flaws, she's 'beautiful', she has a sweet personality, and she has a lovely singing voice (not really). Blech. she's also a damsel in distress with powers she doesn't use until the very end of the game. She also makes not one, but both of the male leads fall head over heels in love with her, and she gets them to do everything in their power to protect her. And she whines and whines about how everything's her fault, and she expects everyone else to do everything for her. Somebody kill me, please...

Pokémon

Sheena -- She's a canon-sue, 'nuff said and I'd rather not go into this because just thinking about it pisses me off...

The Game That's The Bane Of My Existence

Final Fantasy X-2 -- Ugh, ugh, UGH! This game practically slaughtered FFX's beautiful ending and the characters of Yuna and Rikku all in one fell swoop. The plot is retarded, the dress sphere system, while interesting in its own right, caters specifically to the male audience and I find that very sad. This game also ruined one of my favorite FF-style classes, Blue Mage. I'm going to stop myself here before this turns into an entire friggin' book...

In Closing

As for what I had said about Palkia before, my opinion of her has changed for the better. I like and respect her now, though Dialga will always be my absolute favorite Legendary. I will never say one is better than the other, because that's just being childish, but I will defend either or both of them if I ever find myself in such a debate. As a matter of fact, the next time I watch The Rise of Darkrai, I'm going to side with Darkrai because I can't choose between Dialga and Palkia.
