Let the music take control
Burn the fire of rock and roll
Let the music move your soul
Burn the fire of rock and roll
-- 'Fire of Rock' by Racer X

Name: Sorry, that's classified.
Online alias(s): My main alias is ChaosGithzerai, spawning from my D&D days. I also go by LionHeart from back when I had an obsession with Final Fantasy VIII. There's also my light and dark sides: Dragoon of Light and Dragoon of Chaos, and last, but not least, Shuurai. If you want to make it easy, I respond to 'Chaos'.
Gender: Female
Age: Twenty-four
Date of birth: May 23, 1983
Bad habits: For one, I curse way, way, way too much, especially when I'm getting my arse handed to me on video games. I'm also pretty jumpy, especially when somebody suddenly just talks to me out of nowhere. I also have a temper that's quite easy to set off, and I also have a problem with biting my nails. I'm also quite shy when I've just joined a community or message board, or when I'm talking to somebody on AIM for the first time and tend not to say much at first. I also have a bad habit of apologizing more than I should.

My biggest problem; however, is my reclusive nature, which has kept me from making and keeping many friends in the past. There are times when I'll just suddenly disappear from the 'net for a while then come back, which has caused me to lose many potential friendships many times over.

The icon was due for a change for some time now. The art for the icon I'm using now was done by the awesome Nefertili and used with her permission. The icon itself was in turn made for me by my best friend because I cannot make icons or do any kind of art on the computer to save my life...

Links -- Once again, I have had to remove the links acossiated with my story. Goddamn it.

Notes From a Jaded Authoress

I will read any pairing, even those I dislike, if it is written well and makes sense, even slash and femslash (though I don't care much for these). If I can survive a Darc x Lilia story and not keel over, then I can read pretty much anything. Just don't hope for a review though, because I very rarely review anything I read that's not my cup of tea.

Though I love Native American history and culture, I myself am not Native American, though I wish I was. If I ever use anything for my stories, I always make surethat I've done research beforehand before I write anything down.

For the last damn time: Please, don't put my one-shots on story alert! It really makes me angry. If a story of mine is marked as 'complete', then that's what it is. Finished. Done. COMPLETE. Thank you.

I've decided that I am no longer going to write stories for the Mass Effect section, but I will leave Song of the Rachni up incase I decide to come back to it later. I've hit a wall on that one and can't find any way around it, plus; I had originally intended to only post four one-shots, then I ended up biting off more than I could chew trying to write more to make everyone who reads my stories happy. I've retconned and done away with Truth and Secrets. That one just didn't fit in well with my other stories, and it wouldm ake me cringe every time I'd look at it. It just took too damn long for the XBox to be fixed, and when it finally was, I had lost all interest in playing Mass Effect. I'm very, very sorry for this, everyone.

I'm now writing stories for the Pokémon section, as those games are my first love, and I know more about them and feel more comfortable in that fandom. I know I won't get as many reviews on my stories as I did in the Mass Effect section, but I don't care about that anymore. I'll still come back to the Mass Effect section to read stories and catch up on multi-chapter stories I've been reading (which I'm behind on, eep..), but I won't be posting anything else there.

Current writing project: T (Pokémon, work-in-progress.)

Writing idols: Erin Hunter, Jane Yolen, Clare Bell, James Patterson, Lloyd Alexander, K. A. Applegate, and all my friends here on FFNet (you know who you are!)

Mass Effect Stories in Chronological Order

Blue Water -- A conversation between Garrus and Shepard which takes place after Noveria.

Storm Gray -- Takes place right after the Wrex confrontation on Virmire.

My Fate -- Sort of takes place during Storm Gray, Kaidan's thoughts on Shepard and Virmire.

A Last Farewell -- Takes place right after Virmire and My Fate, Shepard remembers Kaidan.

Moving Forward -- Takes place shortly after A Last Farewell, during the night the Normandy travels to Ilos.

To Be Forgiven -- Takes place the next day after Moving Forward, and right after the defeat of Sovereign.

Song of the Rachni -- Takes place two weeks after the defeat of Sovereign. (On permanant hiatus.)

Characters I Love

Mass Effect

Garrus Vakarian -- I absolutely adore him. He's got a really sweet personality if you help him see the light, even though he has the appearance of looking straight through others, rather than at them. He and the female Shepard character have a very wonderful chemistry together that I absolutely wish the devs at BioWare would touch down on. Garrus is also death incarnate with a sniper rifle.

Pokémon

Dialga -- My absolute favorite Legendary, dethroning Lugia. Even though the tenth movie portrayed Dialga as nothing but a savage brute, I still found myself cheering for him. He just has a very nice character design, and he saved my arse many times in Diamond after I got him. And on the Spear Pillar stage on Super Smash Bros. Brawl, he's just so awesome... even if he's just in the background.

Darkrai -- My second favorite Legendary tied with Latios. I absolutely love the Dark-types, and was excited when they finally came out with a Dark-type Legendary. I absolutely love Darkrai's character in the tenth movie too, but I won't say anymore due to spoilers. I did cheer for him and Dialga though.

Characters I Loathe

Mass Effect

Sha'ira the Asari Consort -- I. HATE. Her. Why? Not because she has a Turian general in love with her (though that makes me sick just thinking about it...). but because she chooses to give herself out to people who've done favors for her. Ugh. When she began rubbing up against my female Shepard character, I just wanted to blow her damn head off. And the worst part is that I can't be rotten to her like I want to be, so I had to practically force myself to be nice so she'd keep her hands to herself...

Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits

Lilia -- Until Sha'ira came along, Lilia was the character I most hated in any video game. Why? Because she's a canon-Sue, that's why. She has no flaws, she's 'beautiful', she has a sweet personality, and she has a lovely singing voice (not really). Blech. she's also a damsel in distress with powers she doesn't use until the very end of the game. She also makes not one, but both of the male leads fall head over heels in love with her, and she gets them to do everything in their power to protect her. And she whines and whines about how everything's her fault, and she expects everyone else to do everything for her. Somebody kill me, please...

In Closing

I didn't have anyone from the Pokémon fandom that grates my nerves every time I think of them, well, except for Mew and Lopunny, but you don't want me to get into that. As for what I had said about Palkia before, my opinion of her has changed for the better. I like and respect her now, though Dialga will always be my absolute favorite Legendary. I will never say one is better than the other, because that's just being childish, but I will defend either or both of them if I ever find myself in such a debate. As a matter of fact, the next time I watch The Rise of Darkrai, I'm going to side with Darkrai because I can't choose between Dialga and Palkia.

If you ever want to drop me a line other than by PMs here on FFNet, then you can find me here: AIM -- Chaos Githzerai
