We all have to live our lives and experience things that we might not want to. You can't avoid the fact that we can't be like Edward Cullen, and live forever. We have to appreciate what we have and make the most of our lives. If you're facing a hard time in your life, look to the positive side and just know that everything happens for a reason. We all have different views and opinions and no one was made perfect. Embrace the fact that you are one of a kind and that someone will always love you.

Rebirth:

Prologue

I once lived in a world where humans could manipulate the elements. A place where some would say, ‘dreams become reality’. I have to say that, yes; I did live a rather…good life. I succeeded in what I had aimed for in the end, and my parents were proud to see that I had completed my goal.

Raikou, also known as the Red Storm, was the skilled thunder conductor, and my honorable father. My mother was the White Storm, Hanako. They were legendary masters of the arts lightning and thunder.

Since the day I received my powers at the age of seven, I lived in the shadow of my father. My relatives continually persisted that I was weak and useless behind my back. They would say that I would never be as great as my father and mother. And because they did, my parents pressured me to grow stronger.

I trained everyday, hoping to improve myself for only them, hoping to be the son they deserved. But…no matter how hard I tried, it was never enough. I was never able to fit the description of an ideal child, instead, I was ridiculed, a disgrace.

When I turned twelve, my father sent me away to focus my powers. I did what I was instructed to do, and finally, after training for two years, I surpassed him. When I returned home, my relatives greeted me with open arms, and I earned my name, Tentou, The Jade Storm. But, little did I know, fate was turning.

On my fifteenth birthday, everything suddenly…went away. I didn’t know that I would be lying on the ground, drawing in my last breath as my parents watched helplessly. I wasn’t ready to say good-bye forever. Then, without warning, everything went black and I was…lost.

...When I opened my eyes I noticed everything had a green and slightly distorted look. I looked down to see a robed woman standing there. Who was this woman, where was I, who am I? Then...she spoke, her sallow features twisting into a grin, “Welcome to Seishi Academy.”

They never thought that it would happen to them. They didn’t believe what they were holding in their hands. Were they really the ‘chosen’ ones? Or was it just a bad joke? Was it even possible? Of all people, why them? They lived in an enormous city filled with children of all kind. The city was fairly new, and it was one of the best and biggest cities ever… or at least, they thought it was. In five different parts of Element, several children received the same letter that explained everything to them. And all of the children stared at the four big letters that they saw at the bottom…BASE.

This is their story…from the hopeful beginning to the end of everything.
