About Me:

11/08/09 - I have officially declared my long absence an unintentional hiatus (like that hasn't been realized). Apparently, in June, when people say that you're supposed to do nothing over the summer, I took them very seriously; I was just lazing around a lot of the time in blissful relaxation. And then the nightmare that is my most important year of school began; I barely have time to sleep, let alone work on fanfiction. And while both are quite important to me -stares at metaphorical weighing scale- sleep wins. Just so you know, I have absolutely no idea when I will return to writing and updating yet (hopefully, I will be able to do something over Thanksgiving -cross fingers-), but I have not abandoned this site completely (random Belladolphus ideas still pop into my head from time to time, etc.).

"Imagination, not insanity." - I coined this. I have the strangest urge to have it printed on a t-shirt or something . . .

I'm just a random girl with too much time on her hands and a fondness for procrastination. I'll admit that I'm shameless, and also a romantic sap (i prefer the term 'hopeless romantic'). I still can't use magic outside of Hogwarts, age-wise. But I can read M-rated fanfiction. I end up strangely obsessed with the villains of the story, 90 percent of the time. They can be, and are often, so much more interesting than the heroes. What can I say? Moral ambiguity is fascinating.

Speaking of which, I've taken tons of sorting quizzes and I am a Slytherin. I'm glad, really, because I wouldn't want to be sorted anywhere else. Except if i couldn't be a Slytherin, I would be a Ravenclaw, cuz that's cool too.

Music is my inspiration. I like a lot of stuff. If it sounds good, I'll listen to it. Except rap. I like: All Time Low, Automatic Loveletter, Avril Lavigne, Boys Like Girls, Carrie Underwood, Evanescence, Flyleaf, Kate Voegele, Michelle Branch, New Years Day, Nickelback, Paramore, Taylor Swift, The Veronicas, etc. For my fics, I steal mercilessly from my music library, cuz music can make anything better.

REVIEWS ARE LOVE! And a good way to motivate me to write more. Reviews make me so happy, it's not even funny. And if you don't like my work, well, it doesn't matter very much, because I honestly enjoyed writing it. But duh, of course I hope that you do. And by the way, if you're one of the people who add my stories to story alert and don't review, it makes me feel kind of 'blah.' Apparently, that gives off the impression that my work is likeable, but not to the point where you would take a little time to leave a review to help me improve.

My Works-in-Progress:

Accidentally in Love (16 chapters posted): My Bellatrix/Rodolphus love story! A year in the lives of thirteen-year-old Bellatrix and fourteen-year-old Rodolphus at Hogwarts, in which there is adversity, fighting, mischief, denial, and falling in love.

All I Ever Wanted (1 chapter posted): "It’s choice – not chance – that determines your destiny.” A series of one-shots into the minds of various characters as they ultimately choose to be sorted (or not) into Slytherin. Deals mostly with Death Eaters during their Sorting. Chapter 1: Bellatrix Black.

Relationships that I ship include: Sweenett (Sweeney Todd), Bellatrix/Rodolphus (Harry Potter), Lucius/Narcissa (Harry Potter), Wesley/Lilah (Angel), Jacob/Leah (Twilight). There are other pairings I like, but not with the passion of the ones I mentioned. I'm actually open to most ships, as long as I don't loathe the characters (even then, some exceptions can be made).

Television and Movies that I like include: Angel, Bones, BTVS, Charmed (before the disaster that was Season 8 came around), Dollhouse (created by the great Joss Whedon and stars Eliza Dushku as Echo), I Love Lucy, Bewitched (there is something very refreshing about the old shows that didn't totally depend on sexual humor), Kill Bill, Sweeney Todd, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Cruel Intentions, Pride and Prejudice, Titanic, Transformers, A Walk to Remember.

Books that I like include: Harry Potter series, The Uglies series (also, the first two books of the Midnighters, by Scott Westerfeld), Twilight series (except for Breaking Dawn, because it was epic fail), My Sister's Keeper (also anything by Jodi Picoult), Inheritance series (I only read Eragon & Eldest though), Maximum Ride series, Blood and Chocolate (by Annette Curtis Klause), Hawksong (and the following book, Snakecharm, by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes), The Circle of Magic series (also anything by Tamora Pierce), Unwind by Neal Shusterman, Eon: Dragoneye Reborn by Alison Goodman, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, Candy by Kevin Brooks.

Yes, I read A LOT. And there are some I forgot to mention, I'm sure of it.

Frankly, I disagree with J.K. Rowling’s Black Family Tree (not a huge surprise there, considering I disagree with her a lot, it seems). So, for all purposes, I consider Andromeda the oldest by eight years, with Bellatrix being the middle sister (but considered the eldest by default, after Andi is blasted off the family tree). Narcissa is a year younger than Bellatrix, while the Marauders & Snape are the same age as Narcissa.

OH HOLD. My Redemption series, or in a sense, my AU, began with, of course, my Bella/Rodolphus shipping, which was inspired by some very well-written fanfiction about them. What got me thinking though, were several things: If Bellatrix was not in love in Voldemort, would she still be willing to sacrifice everything for him (and the Cause), especially after years in Azkaban? If Bellatrix was in love in Rodolphus (and vice-versa), would she be willing to give up the fight for the Cause for their potential future/other events? Third, turning traitor to the Cause isn’t exactly unprecedented in the Black family either (Regulus, Narcissa). Fourth, the heroes seem rather forgiving sometimes (e.g. pardoning the Malfoys for their crimes just because Narcissa betrayed the Dark Lord at the last minute). Takes place somewhere after OOTP & before/during? HBP.

I don't know what I would do without some of people that I've met on this site. They're the ones that, in addition to keep me writing even when I feel that no one reads what I write, are awesome people to be friends with. And to whoever is reading this, you should go check out their fics, cuz they're also great writers. =)

xoxLewrahxox: She's random like me, which is already enough to put her on my good side. Not be mention that she's just cool. And always so excited about my fics in her reviews, which can really cheer me up after a long day or whatever. I can't imagine what it would be like if I didn't review her fic, because i would not know her! Very scary thought. Her fics involving Tonks make me laugh. Her fic "Forever" is coming along nicely. And she has the best forum too, it's always entertainingly random and fun. And she admits that I've converted her into a Belladolphus shipper, yay!

Jacalyn Hyde: My Amazing Beta, who should be feared for her amazingness and ability to deal with my constant, optimistic views on Belladolphus. And she's the one who I run my ideas by to see if they make sense. And was the first person that I met on this site, and the first person to ever R&R my fics, which I haven't forgotten, despite my horrible short term memory. Her honest reviews are always entertaining. Our interaction usually occur pretty late, which can be a welcomed distraction (and a way to make me more awake) from my procrasination from unfinished homework at 1 or 2 in the morning. The "Bella, Love" series is awesome, though it can be quite disturbing. Eh, what can I say? I like being disturbed. LOL. The rest of her stuff is pretty awesome too, even if her Bella can be... um, quite unreasonable, putting it mildly.

Xx starlight-moon xX: She just plain spoiled me when she made it her goal to read and review every single one of my fics. In a very short span of time. So yeah, she rocks too. Her reviews are just great, especially when she start doing favorite lines, which I actually love, so don't stop doing it! The "Protege Moi" series is amazing, and the rest of her fics are as well. And we agree that the age order of the Black sisters should go Andromeda, Bellatrix, Narcissa. She admits that I've converted her into a Belladolphus shipper, yay! (I swear, it's infectious!) And she accidentally coined the term 'Rodatrix' for them, which sounds freaky, but is very entertaining to think about.

DaringD: Probably the only person insane enough (this is a compliment, I swear! Does it not sound like one? -shifty eyes- Oops, sorry then) to ship Belladolphus at the level I do. Especially teenage! Bella/Rod. Her reviews make me really happy. Her fic, "Loathing" is really good. I'm still working on the other fics though (I'm terrible about that, sorry!). We both have Rodolphus as older than Rabastan in our fics, props for that.

Inkfire: An awesome addition to the people i call some of my closest internet friends. She's French, and it makes me wish i knew the language so i could read her fics, which are mostly in, well, French. I shot her for liking Jacob/Renesmee . . . but she has forgiven me, and we all got chocolate out of it. LOL. (Don't worry, Az, I'll try not to shoot you again. And you don't rip out my tongue. Truce?)
