Author has written 13 stories for Twilight. Age: Too old to fall in love with fictional characters, that's for damn sure. I write what I'm passionate about. Corny old musicals, baseball, beloved children's books, stories based on NCIS episodes, you get the picture. I also write what I know--which is why most of my stories focus on the characters getting together. Not dating. There's a reason for that. I've only ever been on one date in my entire life. We saw Marley and Me and my date cried. Needless to say I don't particularly feel the need to repeat that particular experience any time soon. This also severely limits me where writing stories about dating are concerned. I can take fictional license as much as I want, but I can't necessarily fake good emotion. The emotions I portray in my stories are things that I identify with; so I can't identify with dating or boyfriend/girlfriend stuff because it just hasn't happened for me yet. Yes, I know I'm practically a spinster as far as today's societal norms are concerned. But it'll happen for me...hopefully. Hell, if Edward can find himself a woman after 100 years of celibacy I can find me a man after 18. That's my rant for the day.
