Author has written 6 stories for Chronicles of Narnia. "But who is Aslan? Do you know him?" Hi! Well...what do I put here, in this space? My name is Mairenn...yeppers, that's my name. Some kinda cross between Maire and Leonard, I guess. I never did ask my parents. I am an avid fan of: history, the Pre-Raphaelites, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Arthur C. Clarke, ack! Too many things to mention. My hobby is playing the piano and writing. I write all over the place: on napkins, slips of paper, on the back of office memos. I have a least two notebooks on my person at all times. I read Narnia and all of the related books years upon decades ago, when I was but a yearling. (Not quite!) You get the gist, right? I was always a little disappointed that the characters had not "grown up" in the series, though I wondered if Mr. Lewis had ever intended to write a few more books, sort of extending the plot line in order for the characters to grow and mature into adulthood. I wondered if he had meant, at least initially, to have the characters grow and "age" alongside the readers of the books. I like to write angsty romances, and though I have written other fics, this is the first time I have gone "public" and decided to begin with the Narnia ideas I've been toying with for a while now. I do hope you enjoy the stories and thank you for reading them! Well, that about sums it up. I did get an avatar. The blue morning-glory...yep, blue is my favorite color, the morning glory one of my favorite flowers. Maire... | |||||||
