I discovered fan fiction over a year ago and quickly got hooked. I haven't really made it out of the Supernatural fandom yet though (and possibly never will as it is a neverending supply of great reads!).

My fave thing about fanfiction would have to be those moments when you find that hidden treasure - that gem of a little fic that you really weren't expecting to be so good. There are some really amazing writers sharing their stuff with us and honouring the show in the best of ways. I swear, some of you should be on Kripke's payroll.

I finally decided I would try my hand at writing a story while waiting for the excruciatingly long summer of reruns to end. Never having even tried to write before, I was surprised when my little story ended up being three big stories.

I have no delusions of ever becoming a great writer, but it is soooooo much fun getting to play with characters I love. My imagination works in TV mode (complete with camera angles and an imaginary cast for any OC's) so my multi-chapter fics take on a standard TV episode format and are complete stories. I try to keep them as cannon as possible so they fit into the series without a hitch but one can never know what curveballs Kripke's gonna throw at us so there's always going to be a small AU element.

Sorry that the longer fics are sometimes slow going but there is only so much obsession with other men (namely Dean and Sam Winchester) that my boyfriend will tolerate! I try to post once or twice a week if I can. I promise I will NEVER start a story and not finish it! :) Once my season four trilogy is complete, I shall have to try something else, but have no idea what yet. Maybe a season five multi-chap fic? That may be fun as the cannon boys are finally getting along again. Who knows.

Anyone who reads my fics, please let me know what you think; I would love some advice and feedback, especially constructive critisism as there's no other way to get any better. Feel free to PM me anytime, even if you just want an opinion on a story you've written. I love this fanfic community - the people here are great. I will warn people though, I'm not a huge fan of mushy romance (I don't mind a love interest but the story and the action have to come first!) and I've never been into perfect, happily-ever-after endings (though I would never kill off any of our lovely boys, Bobby included)! Besides, this is Supernatural; those boys aren't driving that sweet ride off into the sunset all happy and carefree anytime soon. And until they do, I'm gonna keep throwing the whumpage at them.

My Fave Movies: The Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Pirates of the Carribbean trilogy, and the first Star Wars trilogy (episodes IV, V, and VI). Gee, I'm sensing a pattern here. Maybe this is why my season four story is a trilogy :) Also Shawshank Redemtion, Rock-n-Rollas, and the pure A&A fluff of Into the Blue (to name but a few).

My Fave TV Shows: Supernatural, Numb3rs, Supernatural (oops, did I say that already?), Criminal Minds, Supernatural, and NCIS. I dislike pretty much all reality shows and teen soap operas (i.e. Gossip Girl, 90210 etc...). I have recently had to add The Mentalist to this list of faves - what a great ensemble cast that show has - they play off each other so well.

My Fave Actors: The entire SPN cast - like you didn't see that one coming! (JA, JP, JB, JDM & MC) as well as Taylor Kitsch, Johnny Depp, Shia LeBoef, John Leguizamo, Will Smith, Robert Redford, and Paul Walker (yes, I totally see PW as my OC Josh and I am picturing TK as a new character (Colby) in my third episode Next of Kin (watch out Sammy, this guy's abs could rival even yours!)- Disclaimer: I own nothing yada yada yada.

My Fave Books: To Kill a Mockingbird, Watership Down (no surprise there if you've read my stories), David Eddings' entire series The Belgariad

My Fave Music: Aerosmith, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Oasis, Daughtry, Journey, Boston, Foreigner, Rush, Zepplin, Steppenwolf, Pink Floyd etc... (I could go on forever so I'll stop there)

I also LOVE the music on the show (SPN) as I am a superhuge fan of rock, classic rock, and good old-fashioned heavy metal (as well as pretty much anything else except possibly teeny-pop and really hard core rap). There are still specific scenes that come to mind when certain songs hit the dial, so Kripke's still workin' the classic rock thing despite his apparent limited soundtrack budget. Skynyrd's Simple Man for the opening of Free2BU&Me was pure magic!!
