Author has written 8 stories for Lord of the Rings, and Silmarillion. Especially for the older stories, for the most up-to-date versions of the chapters, best go to my website. I find the formatting rules at ff.net increasingly aggravating (whoever is making them up has a wicked sense of humour), and for my own sanity I tend not to screw around with them once they're up unless it's absolutely imperative that I do so.
