| Half-drowned Dracula |
Author has written 5 stories for Harry Potter. Things to say about Half-Drowned Dracula : I'm an intelligent British 18-year-old, not so new to fanfiction at all, really. I'm not going to tell you my name, because I want you to guess ;) That and I don't like my name and want to change it. I only created this account because I wasn't allowed to anonymous review, and then I thought, 'I can't very well go around talking about other people's work without doing something of my own.' I guess I would be described as an eccentric. As far as physical descriptions go I'm pale and lanky, I've got dark brown eyes, and a little boy's haircut. My nose is so large it should really have its own moon to orbit it. I dress like I can't remember whether it's the regency era or 1973, and somehow that works for me. I drew my avatar, gotta love paint (Or not, as the case may be). It's actually pretty accurate, only I sometimes wear horn-rimmed glasses. I'm of the female gender, but don't beat yourself up if you didn't realise that. The number of times I've been mistaken for a young man -Grumble, groan, mutter about the youth, middle-aged and elderly of today, etc- I like classic rock, and I'm good at maths and science, and drawing in inks or pencil. My favourite colour is teal, or blue or green or black or purple or silver. My pen name comes from the facts that: 1/ I've been told I look like Dracula 2/ I've been told that my laugh is 'Like Dracula on speed' 3/ I've nearly died by drowning about 4 times. It seemed appropriate. I'm sorry, I really like starting new lines. At the moment I'm about halfway through quite a lot of stories, who knows if I'll ever put them up, but there you go. I do love a bit of Brit- and Era-picking, I'm pretty good at that in any stories set in the seventies, and I'm good with money conversions, so private mail me if you want any help with that. It really annoys me when you have British characters speaking in Americanisms. I love Niel Gaiman, and I'm a closet Harry Potter fan. Huzzah for writing four whole fics! (Even if they are one-shots.) Currently, I'm working on Je Ne Sais Pas, my first ever chapter fic. If you're reading my profile, can you please check it out and review, I really need some pointers on it, because I'm quite excited about it really. I like writing things which are more like a short moment in time, like, half an hour time-space, because that's what works best for me. I probably won't write anything romance-y except for unrequieted love, which I've had more than my fair share of. And don't ever expect any steamy sex-scenes, because I'll never write that, sorry. ;) I'm not a big fan of much in the way of non-canon pairings, but if it's well-written and believable, I'll read it. If I've reviewed you, its almost definitely because I loved your story, even if I'm correcting something, it's usually because I see a lot of potential in your fic and see it going places, so feel flattered. And if I wasn't so nice about your work, I'm sorry, but perhaps you should put more care into it next time. :) Don't feel bad if you're not in my favourites, either, I forget to favourite ALOT. And one final point. If you're writing a Harry Potter fic with Lily Evans in it, will you please choose the right Lily, for the love of Sparks. Nothing annoys me more than a Marauder-era story with Lily Luna Potter in it, according to the character thing. RAH, You're intelligent people on here, please prove it! Beta-time! I was the Beta for Lilybet's 'Friends Will Be Friends' - which is sadly now finished - but everybody should have a read!: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4095076/1/Friends_will_be_friends And now also her glorious 'Pureblood Dreams - Halfblood Nightmares'. HUZZAH! : http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6400509/1/Pureblood_Dreams_Halfblood_Nightmares Tigerman's 'Portus': http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6120841/1/Portus And more to come. Hooray. I've been neglecting FF.net recently, and for that I am truely sorry. Expect to hear more from me in a month or so. Or not, as the case may be. Hey, look, I've got a Livejournal! Why not hit me up over there? Anyone into RPS; I've written quite a bit for a couple of bandslash comms down the way. | |||||||||
