I know it's been about 2 years since I last updated 'The Governess', but I assure you I have not given up on the story. I actually have the entire plot already planned out (since the beginning), I only need to write it all out in a readable format. What have been holding me back all this time are my academic studies and my career - yes, in other words, real life. It's been a crazy and busy ride, which I can't foresee to stop any time soon. If anything, it'll only get crazier. I have read all your reviews and private messages all this time, which has given me much encouragement and really continued to fuel my desire to complete this story. Since you all have taken the time to write me messages despite my lack of update for the past 2 years, I believe I owe you all this promise, that I will have at least one update (although I'm hoping for more) before this summer is over. So for now, I ask for your continued patience just a little longer.
