Author has written 8 stories for Harry Potter, and Twilight.

Hello!

I'm Saskia. I love to write. (Maybe you guessed that.)

Fanfic is my way of relaxing and writing at the same time. I do write other stuff (but I don't post it online)... sometimes it's stressful, especially when it comes to plotting, but I love it and certainly don't plan to stop anytime soon.

My favorite characters are (in order!) Professor McGonagall, Remus Lupin, Luna Lovegood, Nymphadora Tonks and Neville Longbottom especially. Yep, I'm a definite secondary-character-lover, and proud of it.

I will also tell you that I could use all the help I can get with my writing; reviews are definitely welcome! (see, see, it's in bold??)

Reviews are actually even welcome weeks after publication. Or months. Frankly I don't care how long. Also, if you give me advice, recommendations, that kind of thing at all, I will definitely consider whatever it is. And get back to you. I do love those reviews. :)

I like to read quite a lot and I think that's what I spend most of my time doing (besides those other things like talking to friends and going to school). So if you are also a reader in real life (which I think you had better be) go out and read one of the following...:

Harry Potter series, The Book Thief, Jellicoe Road, East, Hons and Rebels, Casson Family Series, Kristin Lavransdatter, Blow Out the Moon, Three Cups of Tea, The House of the Scorpion, The Ruby in the Smoke, The Day I Became an Autodidact, David Copperfield, Work: A Story of Experience, Daughter of the Forest, Paper Towns, I Am Not Esther, The Eyre Affair, Enna Burning, Switchers, Much Ado About Nothing, Stardust, Coraline, Gathering Blue, The Penderwicks, James and the Giant Peach, Alice in Wonderland... and pretty much anything else you can get your hands on. Books are wonderful and amazing and smell good. I despise the Kindle.

I'm also very adamantly not a Twilight fan. Just thought I should say that. I promise I will try not to be horrible and insulting about it, and if you write Twilight fics but I like other things you've written, that's quite all right. Maybe you can even improve on the series a little. (And DO NOT look at my profile and go, "OH, she's written something for Twilight. EW. I'm not ever going to read ANYTHING she writes, EVER AGAIN!" It's a parody. As Rose Casson would say -- So.)

Besides Twilight I despise bananas, rats, cleaning microwaves, fascism, and bigotry in any form. Most of the times these hatreds don't make it into my stories, even as a side-theme, but I'm working on it.

My favorite stories I've READ, besides the amazing ones on fanfiction.net are, at the moment --

http://fanfiction.mugglenet.com/viewstory.php?sid=64459 (Where Luna Lives) (Absolutely wonderful and my favorite fic of all time. It's like poetry.)

http://fanfiction.mugglenet.com/viewstory.php?sid=79414 (Growing Pains) (Really excellently written... probably the best interpretation of the "Whomping Willow Incident" I've ever read. My favorite is Remus' chapter; I think it's early on in the story?)

http://fanfiction.mugglenet.com/viewstory.php?sid=72626 (The Cause) (I like this a lot... I don't tend to like OC's much but I rather enjoy the one in this fic. I also love all the interactions the Marauders have with each other.)

http://fanfiction.mugglenet.com/viewstory.php?sid=66246 (You Want to Make a Memory?) (Written a little choppily, but nevertheless really well done and absolutely fascinating for any fan of Remus Lupin -- though sometimes I disagree with the way his character is set up. Either way, I like it. I do warn you: it's LONG.)

http://www.sugarquill.net/read.php?storyid=2511&chapno=1 (By the Pricking of my Thumbs) (The best and longest story I've read that covers Lupin's stint at Hogwarts. Fantastic, there's nothing bad I could possibly say about this one.)

http://www.fictionalley.org/authors/after_the_rain/mordant.html (Mordant) (Amazing story, amazing writing, amazing everything. My favorite are the first six chapters.)

http://www.fictionalley.org/authors/after_the_rain/TCOATM01a.html (True Confessions of a Teenage Multimagus) (Hilarious, well-written, and one of my favorite wouldn't-it-be-lovely expansions.)

Any stories on my favorites list are also definitely worth checking out, as they are what I consider to be the best I've found on this website

I tend to review mostly in little spurts; I'll review about twenty fanfiction.net stories in one day, and then I won't again for another few weeks, or however long. But I do read it often... and I hope to post more myself as well. I also beg you to read and review all one-shots on this site! They get so much less attention than they deserve and some are quite amazing -- my friend marrythepirate has two rather hilarious ones up on her page.

Thank you!!

UPDATE -- I'm probably not going to finish "To Teddy, To Dora", though I may post updates from time to time. Though it isn't the oldest posted, it's one of my oldest stories, and maybe that's the reason I don't like it as much as any of the others. But I do enjoy writing bits and pieces of it... so who knows. :)
