Author has written 22 stories for Fusion Fall, Dexter's Laboratory, and Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea. Welcome to my profile. Let me start by saying I’ve been writing fanfic for ages. I’ve written stories for a variety of fandoms under several names, though I hope to keep this name exclusively for Fusion Fall. Lightning Birds are mythological creatures said to predict coming storms. I liked the sound of the name so I shanghied it from my older sister. I have always loved Cartoon Network’s original cartoons. The advent of Fusion Fall was like a dream come true - to have so many beloved characters in one space at one time, each of them working together, but in their own unique way. I will admit I haven’t played the game – my computer dates back to the early Paleocene Era and it would curl up and die if I asked it to handle something so complex. I have not read many stories involving the characters I’m using, nor am I up on recent developments or trends in the respective fandoms. If there are any similarities to anyone else’s work out there, it’s purely coincidence. I’m just here having fun, and I hope you readers will as well. So the version of Fusion Fall universe that I’m using is my own, cobbled together from information on the website, the original cartoons, and my own imagination. It's totally A/U. I simply placed all the characters together in the same time and in the same universe. The Kids Next Door are the backbone of Earth’s Combined Forces (ECF), providing troops and support for the war against Planet Fusion. The Power Puff Girls (all three of them), Samurai Jack, and Ben10 are the heavy hitters against Fuse’s hybrid monsters. Dexter is the mechanical genius responsible for developing armor and defenses. The supreme commander of the ECF is Mandy, because seriously, could you see her tolerating anyone else in charge? I promise here and now to keep the characters as true to canon as possible. I will also keep the original characters to an absolute minimum and I will not allow them to overshadow the canon characters. I have no use or interest in self-inserts, Mary Sues, non-canon romances, or anything else some people feel are necessary to make a fandom 'better.' I think the concept of Fusion Fall stands well enough on its own. I will deliver the best stories I'm capable of producing, and I gladly welcome all comments, criticisms, and encouragements that you the reader would like to offer. I'm a proud supporter of the Southern Florida Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. 3.3.09 I commissioned Aneko-Kitana to draw a picture from an upcoming chapter of Invisible Sun. Her response to my request far surpassed all my hopes. She produced multiple pictures, presently posted in her scrapbook, and has promised more. I am understandably thrilled, both with her rough sketches and that there's more to come. She packs a lot of humor and emotion into a picture - you won't be disappointed! 5.21.09 My thanks to the1hobbit for my spiffy new avatar! 9.27.09 Nym-Akuma did a great little sketch to accompany How to Press the Right Buttons. Check it out! She also wrote a wicked cool musical piece to accompany Taken. 10.15.09 Deserthaze has done some fabu artwork for Invisible Sun. This one is my favorite. It's awesome stuff! 5.5.10 Diana-Kisa has written a sequel to Clearly Harassment called A Different Bedtime Story, which involves Professor Utonium addressing Bubbles' confusion in the aftermath of Him's visit.
