Author has written 78 stories for StarTrek: Voyager, StarTrek: Deep Space Nine, Stargate: SG-1, Stargate: Atlantis, Farscape, Doctor Who, NCIS, and Castle. Hail and well met, friend! So...I'm Kate. Mid-twenties, involved in law enforcement, lifelong geek. I'm a huge reader and use my library card more than my debit card. I like to be around horses when I can. I tend to develop addictions to TV shows and watch EVERYTHING. What shows do I like? In no particular order..."Doctor Who," "Psych," "Stargate: SG-1," "Stargate: Atlantis," "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine," "Star Trek: Voyager," "Burn Notice," "Castle," "Farscape," "The Big Bang Theory," and of course, "Jeopardy!" (hard to write fanfic on that one). What's up with the big break? I published once in 2009, once in 2010, and not again until 2012?! Ever had writer's block? Most people have. Ever had it for four years? It sucks. My recommendations from my own work? Castle --> My latest genre, so read everything, it's all good so far. Stargate: SG-1 --> "Sir" is probably my favorite. I thought I got O'Neill's "voice" rather well. Although the "Star Gate" stories (especially "Revenge of the Jaffa") are popular (and very funny). Stargate: Atlantis --> Definitely "Patience". "Paintball" is rather funny but "Patience" is much more true to the characters, in my opinion. NCIS --> "Home" is a pretty easy choice, as it's the only story I've published to date. Doctor Who --> My two most frequently read are "Competition" and "Domestic" although I'm more fond of "Domestic" Star Trek (any) --> Er...do yourself a favor, and don't expect much. This was the first stuff I did and it's not that great, in my opinion - many more grammatical errors, although they were often quite humorous. I only keep it here to remind me of how far I've come.
