Author has written 1 story for Lord of the Rings. Hello everyone! My Avatar is Siel, the Lady of Time, from the upcoming online-video game Aion. Its awesome so if you want to check it out its at www.AionSource.com. My name is Angel Eyes there. Personally, I have no intention of being a professional author, at least pf novels, but I admire and respect those of you who are striving in that direction. The stories that I do write on fan-fiction are ideas that have been bouncing around in my head for some time and I think fan-fiction will be a good outlet for them. Mostly they are derived from stories that I thought should have ended differently or are "cause and effect" stories (they are stories that come from "If I introduce this character/event what will happen...). I am giving you fair warning, I am one of those annoying people who is obsessed with happy endings and fluffy-moments (I drive my friends crazy). However! Don't get too cozy reading my stories, for I may surprise you yet, Aha ha ha!! (evil laugh). I am also a Catholic, so my stories will occasionally contain religious issues and problems and I will answer them according to my faith. They are not there to offend anyone, but I will neither apologize nor be sorry if they do offend, unless of course, I was the one in error. I. But I'm rambling, let us proceed to a lighter note, namely me. I am an 18 year-old girl and home schooled and if anyone dare say that homeschoolers are shut-in, delinquents I will personally sabotage your work. (not really, but you get the idea.) My hobbies are reading anything from Jane Austen to manga to Milton and back again, and I enjoy a watching old-time cop shows like Dragnet and new ones like CSI. My goal is to become an illustrator so all you awesome authors out there, remember me when you need a cover artist! My ankles are prone to bad sprains, so I do no sports except for the occasional Archery shoot with my dad. My interests are mostly directed indoors and I am beginning to study Japanese. (Notice the word "beginning". I know zilch right now ha ha.) I love sushi , especially the kind with cream-cheese in it, and chocolate milk. By nature I am very shy so I will usually back-down from confrontation, but my bite will indeed smart if anyone crosses me. I have few friends, but the ones I do have are forever and very precious to me. So now please try to enjoy my stories, they won't be perfect, but that's why we're here isn't it, to improve our writing. Before you ask, oh Twilight fans, I like both Jacob and Bella or Edward and Bella. Still, don't expect me to join either cult. You guys really need to lighten up over the whole issue hehe Favorite Books:The Daughter of Time, The Tale of Despereaux, The Hobbit, The Custer Legacy, Red Wall series, Shanara series, Knight of the Word series, Beauty, Watership Down, Silas Marner, The Glass Virgin, Jane Eyre, Chronicles of Narnia, Captain Blood, The Scarlet Pimpernel, The Riddle-Master Trilogy...the list goes on. Favorite Authors:Robin McKinley, Lynn Kurland, Ellis Peters, Jane Austen, C.S. Lewis, Sir Arthur Canon Doyle, Patricia A. Mckillip, Agatha Christie, and Dorothy L. Sayers. This list will be add to. Favorite Movies: Pride and Prejudice (with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle), Persuasion (with Amanda Root and Ciaran Hinds), The King and I (with Yule Brenner), The Princess Bride, the three Lord of the Rings Movies, Interview with an Exorcist...this list will also be added to. The Worst Books I have (or Tried to) read: The Federalist papers by Alexander Hamilton, John Jay, and Madison. I'm sorry all you historians out there, but those things were just boring. The Worst Movies I have ever seen: Or perhaps I should say did not have the stomach to finish: 1941: Horribly crude humor. Flesh and Blood: Disgusting immorality and a severe disrespect for the Catholic Church. Can't people write decent mid-evil movies anymore? I mean it doesn't have to be blood and rape and murder throughout the movie! There was much good in the middle ages, why can't people see it? Things I Suggest You Do: Start a book Journal Book Journals are diaries of all the books you read. You write down the title and author and any thoughts you have on the book: did you like or hate it, who was your favorite character, would you read more of the author's stories...the list is endless and is up to the writer. I thoroughly enjoy mine. June 13, 2009 Well alot has happened since I last up dated my profile. I'm no longer single (my boyfriend is the sweetest man on earth) and I have started college. English Composition t o be precise. But the saddest thing is that my best friend is going away to college in August. I don't know what I am going to do. Grrr...I still haven't worked on my story in a while. Don't worry though! I will not leave it unfinished. You're all still waiting for the romance part of it anyway. | |||||||
