If anyone is wondering when I'll ever get around to finishing these novelizations, I advise you to have a LOT of patience. Progress is very, very slow since most of my attention is devoted to finishing Shadow of the Hero, and if I want to have a life, then I just don't have the energy for that many multi-chapters. I HAD to make a choice between the two, and ultimately I chose Shadow of the Hero. I'm sorry if this disappoints anyone, but this is just the way it has to be.
Just another wanna-be author with a lot of time on my hands, hence my recent interest in anime/manga and fanfiction. I started out writing just for fun, but I still appreciate criticism in all its forms. I can already see my writing improving in just the past year, and I hope to get even better.
I spend the majority of my free time writing (lame, I know), but more than half of the crap I spew out onto my keyboard never gets published. No need to clutter up the archive with awful half-baked ideas and waste everyone's time. I like oneshots because they are quick, easy and don't require quite as much thought. Short stories are the greatest invention in the world because they can say so MUCH with so few words.
I also write multi-chapters once in awhile, but not often. Let me explain why. When I publish a multi-chapter, that means I intend to FINISH it! No stopping halfway, no publishing the first chapter and only writing more if I get reviews. When the first chapter goes out, that means the rest of the story is basically written and/or planned out and all that's left is editing. And there is a LOT of editing. I usually end up changing the whole direction of my stories halfway through and have to go back to rewrite the first chapters to fit the new plot, so publishing early would NOT be a good idea for me.
Reviews and Pairings
I admit that I am very lazy when it comes to reviewing. When I read a story I like, it tends to go straight on Favorites or Story Alert, same with authors. Because of this I try my best not to beg for reviews on my own stories. Equivalent Exchange, after all!
And as for yaoi...it's okay. I prefer canon pairings, but once in awhile I still enjoy a good yaoi story, and there are many, many excellent stories on this site that manage to incorporate yaoi without slaughtering the original fandom. I truly admire those few authors that manage to pull it off.
If anyone wants to draw fanart inspired by my stories, you're more than welcome. I can't draw worth squat so seeing my stories come to life in a visual form just makes my day. Just let me know where to find it so I can see it too and provide a link here!

"Truth is stranger than fiction," as the old saying goes. When I watch a documentary, I can't help crying, and then I think to myself "Fiction can't compete with this." But when I mentioned this to a veteran manga artist friend of mine, he said that "Fiction brings salvation to characters in stories that would otherwise have no salvation at all." His words strengthened the conviction of my manga spirit - Hiromu Arakawa, Fullmetal Alchemist Vol. 12
I believe in God, but I also believe in morality, which is doing what is right regardless of what I am told. Not in religion, which is doing what I am told regardless of what is right - Anonymous
That was the thing about Fate. All it did was set the path before you. It left you the free will to decide whether or not to walk it. In the end there was no one to blame but yourself, and no more crueler fate than the freedom to be responsible for every choice you make - Rose Zemlya, Reconciliation (EPIC Legend of Zelda fanfic!)
