I am a 23 year old North Carolina Christian female graduate from East Carolina University. I am proud of to be born in the South of the United States of America. I am pursuing my Masters degree and I have a great job working in a lab. I love medical research. Anyway I started this as a way to help me to improve my writing. Personally, I don't like to write all that much because I tend to go on little rabbit trails. I also have a lot of ideas bouncing in my mind that needs to get out which is why I plan on typing them and posting them. When I have those ideas written then I can free up space in my mind for my work.

I am currently writing Of Days and Events and I am planning on adding a couple of new characters. I want to know what you think of these before I add them into the story.

Name: Thomas Lee Beauregard

Age: 22 years old

Height: 6 ft, 1 inch

Appearance: He has auburn hair with a streak of white hair on his temples that extend around his head to meet in the back of his head, he has dark green eyes and is tan skinned. (His appearance is very similar to Rogue.) He usually wears casual suits with black or navy dress shoes.

Date of Birth: October 23

Occupation: Politician, like his father Robert Jackson Beauregard who was leading the march for mutant registration and elimination in some cases. Thomas works to stall plans for mutant registration and similar laws by “encouraging” other politicians and humans in power. No human or mutant knows that he is a mutant. No one knows where his allegiance lies.

Powers: He can manipulate a human/mutants mind and memory without the need for physical contact, he can suppress a mutants powers and he is able to use another mutants powers without having to touch them.

Weaknesses: He can use his full powers on any human/mutant mind except for Remy LeBeau. His powers work in direct opposition to Rogue so he can manipulate her memories, suppress her mutation but he can't control her mind like he can other mutants.

History: Thomas is Rogue’s older brother, he is five years older than Rogue. Thomas was helpless to stop his father when he suspected Rogue was a mutant, which was confirmed when she was almost 3 years old. At the age of 7, Thomas was able to restrain his father from beating his sister while they were in the same room but he could do nothing when he wasn’t near him. Thomas was sent away to his Grandmother in Louisiana shortly after his father discovered Rogue’s mutation. Rogue was taken into foster care when she was 4 years old and Thomas was 9. He has been looking for her since he was fifteen years old and finally found her when she stayed in Louisiana for a few days. Thomas followed her to New York where they were finally reunited after 13 years of separation. The reunion was not a pleasant one and no one at the institute likes Thomas especially Rogue. Rogue does her best to run him away but he continues on trying to get to know her. He does not like the relationship he sees forming between Rogue and Remy.

Name: Savannah Stone

Age: 19 years old

Height: 5 ft, 8 in

Appearance: Dark brown straight hair that falls to the middle of her back that is typically held back in a braid. She usually wears khaki shorts with a black t-shirt and a khaki short-sleeve jacket. She wears soft sole sneakers so she can take them off quickly to use her powers.

Date of Birth: April 22

Occupation: Professional Paleontologist. She goes around the world to discover and unearth ancient dinosaurs and ancient artifacts that have been buried in the earth for millions of years. She is world renowned for being a gifted and lucky paleontologist since she discovers a skeleton or priceless artifact in every dig that she goes to almost within weeks. She is able to hide her mutation and pass it off as being a talented young woman, which she is.

Powers: Savannah has the power to move earth and bend it to whatever shape she chooses. She can turn dirt into hardened stone and she can turn stone to sand if she needs. She also has a secondary mutation where she can encourage tree or bushes to grow if there is an adequate source of light and water nearby. She can also see beneath the surface using a form of eco-location where she feels the vibrations in the earth. The only way she can control the earth is for her to have skin-to-earth contact.

Weaknesses: Her powers do not work unless she can be in skin-to-earth contact, so for her to use her powers she must first take off her shoes (she doesn’t usually wear socks because of this). She can’t use her powers if she is not near a large source of bare land.

History: Savannah discovered she could move earth when she was a ten year old playing in the dirt with some friends. They were playing in the mud when she wanted to make a tea set for her friends, as she thought this the mud formed in the shape she thought. Her friends were the first to see her mutation awaken but wisely remained silent, mostly for her safety and also because they thought it was the coolest trick. She often talks to her friends in a code they invented regarding her powers. Savannah graduated from high school early at the age of 15 years old and immediately began working in college on a paleontology degree. She finished her Bachelor’s degree after two years and also completed a Master’s degree by the time she became 19 years old. She met Thomas in Bayville where she was presenting her latest find of a rare carnivorous dinosaur family found intact. They talked and have been in regular contact with one another. They have been on a few dates and are secretly going out. They are very quiet about their relationship to keep the media out and their mutations a secret in the public. Savannah has met Rogue and the X-men and they became fast friends. She continues to talk with Xavier when she has questions about her mutation.

Now, I’d like to add a little background to Rogue. I’ve already hinted at her having a blood brother so here is her life story before she was sent to foster care and adopted by Mystique.

Name: Anna Marie Beauregard

Date of Birth: April 10

History: Anna Marie began showing signs of being a mutant around the time she was two years old. Other family members and people she touched reported a small static electric charge. Her family began to notice she was growing smarter and bigger at a faster rate than most humans. By the time she was 2 ½ years old she was tall enough to appear a 4 year old and her speech lost the “baby talk” of most toddlers. Her father suspected something odd when he saw her open a book and read a few of the first words with some difficulty. He had her tested and discovered she had a weak x-gene in her blood. This fact enraged him and he started to mercilessly beat her and attack her for not being human. This abuse continued until she was 4 years old when a babysitter reported her father’s abuse to the authorities. After a fast trial, Anna Marie was placed in foster care and hidden from her family. She was soon adopted by Irene and went to live with her until she was 15 years old when she went with Mystique. After a few months with Irene, Anna Marie buried her memories of the Beauregard family so deep in her subconscious that she was never able to retrieve them again. She took the name Rogue after her birth name was forcibly forgotten.
