IMPORTANT NOTE: :sigh: Once again, I am really really sorry about not writing/updating anything for so long! Despite having restored my interest in Bleach, I've continued to have major writer's block on all of my stories. Plus, I'm researching Graduate Schools and studying for the GRE exam, which has been taking up a huge amount of my time. Add that to taking on extra hours at work, and I'm left with a complete lack of free time to even attempt to write. I am not abandoning anything, and I still fully intend to add to all of my collections and to write Laying Foundations (the sequel to Restructuring Life). But I'm afraid that it's likely to be some time before anything gets posted. By this point, there's a good chance many people have given up on me and won't read this. To those of you who are still waiting for me, you have my deepest apologies for the continued delays.

About me: I'm an obsessive reader(fantasy genre & manga)/watcher of anime/tv/movies. I'm a part-time librarian applying to graduate school with a computer science major. I'm fascinated by languages and am learning how to speak Japanese. I dislike social activities and prefer solitude most of the time. I HATE speaking aloud in front of groups. Um...well, I guess I'll add more as I think of it.

Least Favorite Pairings: Bleach - IchiHime (I love Orihime a lot, but she does NOT fit with Ichigo), AizenXanybody(Ick!); Any pairing that contradicts canon (unless there is a VERY good reason, for example, one member of the canon pairing dies in an AU and the other has to move on.)

I generally enjoy slash, provided it's written respectfully, since there is nothing wrong with 2 males or 2 females loving each other, and I enjoy seeing that other people agree with me on that issue. I only have a problem with it (or any romance) when it contradicts canon. In other words, if a character has a straight relationship in canon, DO NOT put that person in a gay relationship. (AragornXLegolas anyone? I mean, Aragorn stayed in love with Arwen for over 60 years before finally being allowed to marry her, he is most definitely straight!)

My favorite type of story is the friendship fic. Certain friendships can be closer than even brothers/sisters or lovers, without needing blood ties or romantic involvement to complicate it, and there is nothing more satisfying than reading about that. In terms of friendship pairings like this, I have too many favorites to list. In fact, I would say that anytime this sort of close friendship can be depicted without veering into romance, I end up liking it, regardless of the characters involved.

About Reviews: I can't get enough of them! Don't ever think something like, "Oh, he/she has so many reviews already, there's no way they need more," because it's not true! I have this funny little picture of us fanfic authors being like the writing equivalent of musicians who perform on street corners. If you listen to the music and enjoy it, it's common courtesy to drop a coin or two in their instrument case, right? Only for us authors it's reviews in our inbox. :) Of course, sometimes you don't have the time or the energy to do it, and I can understand that. But if you want to thank the author for giving you a piece of enjoyable writing, giving a review is an excellent way of doing it! That's especially if you're giving constructive criticism. That helps us authors improve our work, which is the whole point of being on the site!

About Requests: Twice now, I've written a one-shot I believed to be complete, and immediately received requests via review/story alert to continue. If you send a signed review, I will always respond, and if you mentioned further chapters, I will let you know my answer. A First Time For Everything:
Summary: Kon recounts the major events of his relationship with Kurosaki Yuzu from the beginning to a new beginning, and shows how important it is to try something for the first time.
Update Status: Complete. Will not be updated.

Overprotective:
Summary: Rukia is sick of how overprotective the men in her life have become. Can she prevent them from interfering in her missions? Or will the men succeed in keeping her safely within their grasp?
Update Status: Incomplete. Will write at least one more chapter, possibly more provided reader interest (ie, reviews) continues.

Brothers By Experience:
Summary: On the eve of a life-altering decision of Rukia's, Byakuya considers the parallels between her relationship with Ichigo and his relationship with Hisana. He must decide whether to accept Rukia's wishes, or act to prevent her from making a huge mistake.
Update Status: Complete. I've received two requests so far to continue this, but I have no clue where I could take it from here. To the people who asked, I apologize. I'm delighted that you enjoyed it enough to want more, but without a specific plotline, I don't know that I could manage any more. I may do another ByakuyaXHisana story at some point, and I can guarantee you more IchiRuki, but neither will be under this title. Again, I'm sorry if this disappoints anyone!

Restructuring Life:
Summary: After the war ends, Ichigo receives a startling offer from the new Central 46 and sets to work completing his training as a Shinigami. Rukia also begins working towards her future. But what are these new feelings between them, and what happened, on the day Aizen died, to trigger them? And as the two begin the restructuring of their lives, who is this new warrior destroying hollows in Karakura Town? IchiRuki future fic. NOT a Captain!Ichigo or Academy!Ichigo story.
Update Status: Complete. I hope everyone who has been reading enjoyed it!

Laying Foundations:
Summary: One year after the events of 'Restructuring Life', distance, new duties, and emotional conflict have caused the Substitute Team to drift apart. But the past never stays buried, and soon Ichigo, Rukia, and Tatsuki discover new and unusual powers resulting from their experiences from the previous year. As they struggle to understand and control them, the long-awaited Rukongai elections begin, and a group of political dissidents, with ties to a member of the Team, attempts to seize power. Can the fractured group reconnect with each other in time to prevent a bloody revolution? Or will the fragile peace of the Soul Society be lost to Civil War?
Update Status: Being Written. I'm not sure anymore when it'll be coming out (see note at top of profile), but I'm trying my hardest to continue writing so as to have it up as soon as possible. I'm extremely sorry about the delay, and I very much hope I will be able to make it only a short wait.

Through the Eyes of a General:
Summary: A collection of one-shots about or in the point of view of Yamamoto Soutaichou. My attempt at portraying the General of the Gotei 13 in a more sympathetic manner than is usually found.
Update Status: Incomplete. This will be updated randomly as I come up with inspiration for new chapters.

The Reincarnation Chronicles:
Summary: A collection of one-shots/short stories discussing reincarnation. The Bleach universe operates on taking reincarnation as a fact, but we've never been given many details about how exactly it works. These one-shots will experiment with the various possibilities.
