Hello! I go to secondary school in Ireland and my name is Kate, but I'm sometimes referred to as Katamabob or Kobble (as my name is so damn common!). I'm 17.

Only started reading fanfiction in the past year and only began writing it even more recently. I appreciate all feedback, as I am trying to improve! Right now I'm mainly writing Harry Potter (how I love it!) but may expand into other areas.

I love reading and some of my favourite things to read include anything by Terry Pratchett, most things by Neil Gaiman, Watchmen by Alan Moore, Pride and Prejudice and almost everything else _. Right now I'm reading Jane Eyre and loving it! Oh! and oh course Harry Potter. Obviously ;)

I love watching movies like the Shawshank Redemption, V for Vendetta, Titanic, Serenity, Spirited Away and, lately, Coraline (Neil Gaiman again!) to name but a few.

Music: Bon Iver, Fleet Foxes, KT Tunstall, Tracy Chapman, Bob Dylan and... well, lots of other stuff!

TV: Don't watch it a lot now-a-days, but I like Scrubs, Heroes, House, Simpsons, Friends and, above all, Firefly. Best. Show. Ever. I hate Fox Network for cancelling it. _

My favourite characters ever? The ones I'll probably centre around aren't necessarily my favourites, but my favourites are:

HP: Fred and George Weasley, Luna, Ginny, Hermione and Neville (I love almost all of then and there are others i would mention but this will get too long _).

Neil Gaiman: Dream, Death (Sandman version), Desire, Hob Gadling, Door, Yvaine, Wyborne.

Terry Pratchett: Vimes, Angua, Nobby, Polly Perks, Maladict, Granny Weatherwax, Verence II, Greebo, Death (Discworld version), Lu Tze, Brutha and everyone else.

Pride and Prejudice: Elezabeth Bennet, Mr. Darcy, Jane Bennet, Mr. Bingley.

Firefly: Mal, Kaylee, Wash, Zoe, River, Simon, Jayne, Inara, Jubal Early.

Why would he/she be your best buddy? Ginny because she’s smart, so you can have an intelligent conversation without too much studying (sorry Hermione, not really my thing. I do like books though) and Ron because he’s good for a laugh, silly though he may be.

Which character in the book can you relate to? Um… Harry. I’m clueless _ or… Ginny. The only girl in the family.

What pet would you get? Can I not have a dog? Ok, then. A cat I guess. Owls are all very well, but I like something that can go on my lap.

If you happened to discover the Mirror of Erised, what would you see in it? Uh… socks? A life-time supply of books? I’m gonna go with… me holding a successful book that I wrote.

If your friend was pulled into the Whomping Willow by a black dog, would you jump in and rescue him/her? If there was no one to call for help then yes. I did say that I might be a Hufflepuff _

If Sirius Black turned up on your doorstep, what would be your reaction? Before or after PoA? Before or after OoP? Difference? Before PoA: Scream and run away. Before OoP: “Hi!” After OoP: I would a) “OMG! You’re ALIVE!” and hug him or b) “OMG! ZOMBIE!”

What would be his reaction to your reaction? This’ll take a while…

i) “Shit! I’ve been sighted! Don’t bring back the Dementors!”

If you found out you could speak Parseltongue, who would you tell (characters in the HP book)? Um… Dumbledore or Hermione. Both seem to know everything (assuming I didn’t know about Harry).

If you landed yourself in the same situation as Harry was in with Umbridge's detention, would you tell anyone about the marks on your hand? Hell yes. I’m a natural born whiner. _

Do you like the books more or the movies? The books. Always. I do NOT like the films. The books are better in every way imaginable.

Who's your favorite out of the Marauders? Um… Remus. Yeah. I liked him ever since he first appeared. And (though he didn’t stop them) he didn’t bully people.

What would your Patronus take shape in? I don’t know… a wolf? No, too cool for me I’m afraid. A penguin maybe _. Nah. I’ll go with… a dog. A Labrador maybe.

What would be your Animagus form? A bird. Maybe a raven. Or a wolf.

Sirius Black or Remus Lupin? Remus

Severus Snape or Sirius Black? It depends. I’d prefer to spend time with Sirius, but in general I feel so damn sorry for Snape, git or not.

Hermione or Cho? Hermione. Definitely. Cho is too sensitive and a bit too girly.

James Potter or Snape? Same as above with Sirius, except I like James more ‘cause he must have changed some for Lily.

Hagrid or Snape? Hagrid. He’s amazing, obviously.

The Marauders or The Golden Trio? If I want to have a good time, I say Marauders, but in general the Trio. They’re better people.

Ability to become Invisible or become an Animagus? Animagus. I’d like to be invisible, but turning into an animal? How can I pass that up?

Harry or Ron? Ron, hilarious. Harry’s a better person, but just not as fun.

Fleur or Tonks? Tonks. I like Fleur too a certain extent but… no. Tonks is way more fun.

Hermione or Ginny? Ginny I think. Less studying _

Cedric Diggory or Viktor Krum? Cedric Diggory. I’m not a sports person, and Cedric is such a very nice guy.

Luna Lovegood or Cho Chang? Luna. So much more individual.

Dumbledore or Peeves the Poltergeist? Dumbledore. I love him. Peeves is a twit, however. Dumbledore is manipulative but I prefer not to think about that.

Aragog (Hagrid's dead spider) or Grawp (Hagrid's giant brother)? Aragog. He was cool (in a “I will eat you” kind of way _) I just think the Grawp chapter went on too long. I have a grudge.

Bellatrix Lestrange or Narcissa Malfoy? I don’t know. Bellatrix is more interesting in the books (though in a bad way). But I have more respect for Narcissa. She loves her family. She isn’t psychotic. ‘Nuff said.

Would you rather go through the first task or the third task in the Triwizard Tournament? Um… First. The tension and suspense of the final one would kill me. Up front with a dragon is better (in a lethal way)
