The Vampire in the Basement was the first fanfiction I ever wrote (in fact, it was the first real story I've ever written). I didn't know about writing and I didn't know about storytelling but I thought it'd be fun. 3 years later, I'm starting to adopt that sentiment again, and although I know a little more about writing and storytelling, I'm going to keep true to the story and to what I wanted to do. POVs will continue to shift, regardless of how much shit I take for it. I'll keep throwing in ellipses with wild abandon. Bella will continue to be annoying. For that matter, so will Alice, Jasper, and Carlisle. The pace will still be snail slow, although it's picked up mildly. I said this was a story about recovery and love, and it still is. There's an arc in there somewhere, but yeah. I'm nothing if not thorough.

I work full time and probably will suck at responding to reviews, because I hope to take the time that I dedicate to fanfiction in the evenings for writing. I love you if you review, and I read them all. All. of. them.
