Author has written 5 stories for Zelda, and Star Wars.

Real quick thanks should go to Sporadic Attic for the profile pic of G-dorf's face. She's a talented artist who's doing some artwork for An Old Threat in a New Era. This was apparently just a quick little piece of work she sent me, and not the actual picture that she's working on right now. To that, I say, "Wowzers." And I don't say that word often. Like I said, she's got talent. When she finishes what she's working on, I'll get a link up on my bio that leads to her masterfully-drawn artwork.

My Bio

I'm twenty-four and married with a kid on the way, and I still have a great love for video games, among which the Zelda series will always be my favorite. That's probably why I've written mainly Zelda fics thus far. There's not much to tell about my job except that it employs the usage of Arabic. However, the language that my wife and I truly want to learn one day is Japanese, and I hope that we're able to do so by the time we reach 30.

My current projects are Zelda fanfics, but I do have a Star Wars one-shot here that's worth checking out. When you read my stuff, let me know what you think of it with a review. I take anonymous reviews as well, simply because I'll take advice from anyone willing to read and comment on/critique my work. So don't be shy; many of us here are aspiring authors, and that's why we want to hear reader input.

I used to write fanfiction more often, but I had to leave the country to live in Poland for two years, which effectively stopped me from writing for the entire time I was gone. When I returned home I had my chance to continue where I left off; most of my stories were incomplete, but I became really busy and never gave myself time to write and finish them.

That aside, I hope to get things going here again with my fics. I'm re-working a few of them a bit to make them a little more readable and enjoyable. After I finish these projects I hope I can add some other works to my library, and that's only if my busy schedule will allow for that. I do have a baby due in January, after all.

Well, I hope I don't disappoint.

My Preferences

As you I mentioned, I mainly have Zelda fanfiction posted here, but that doesn't mean I won't read something else. Zelda probably takes priority over anything else, but I also love Star Wars, as well as Harry Potter. I've read a few Metroid fics, and I've even been inclined to check out a few Star Fox stories. Let me just give a quick list of the kinds of fics that you could probably get me to read.

Zelda
Star Wars
Harry Potter
Lord of the Rings
Metroid
Star Fox
Rurouni Kenshin
Trigun
Matrix
Metal Gear Solid
Indiana Jones
The Elder Scrolls

Those I would read in a heartbeat if asked to, but if you asked nicely, I might be inclined to read something else.

Synopsis of My Stories

Star Wars: The Dark Lord's Trial

This was a really fun one for me to write. It takes place just before Darth Vader reaches the construction site of the New Death Star to begin overseeing its progress. He goes into a Jedi Trance but is noticed through the Force by Yoda. The Jedi Master then decides to trap Darth Vader in a mentally-created prison so as to teach him a lesson. Vader has to face off against Yoda in a series of events that eventually leads to a crazy and unexpected climax. A startling revelation is made to Vader, and a change is wrought upon him. This fic is definitely worth your time.

An Old Threat in a New Era

I wrote this Zelda fanfic during the summer of 2000 with Erico (another author on this site). I'm currently in the process of re-writing it because the original version was horrendously written. If you don't believe me, go to Erico's library of stories and check it out for yourself. I'm hoping you take the time to read and review this one because it's my most current project at the moment, and it's always nice for readers to share their views with me about how they feel the story is doing. It's hard to get a meaningful review sometimes, and I'm sure you all know what I mean by that. I like critiques, constructive criticism--honestly I need it if I'm to become a better author.

I took everything down from it except for the prologue. It needed a complete revamp, and I'm giving it exactly that. Expect results, and expect them soon.

This is a Zelda story that takes place in modern times, long after the events of games like Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess. The setting is New York City, and Link is nothing more than a cocky teenager, not realizing that it's his destiny to become the next great hero.

Sold Out

I love this one-shot. I wrote it a few years back, but it kind of got buried in a notebook under a pile of crap in my closet. I unearthed it one day and posted it here. It stands alone as a funny little anecdote about a shop keeper in Hyrule having to deal with an annoying customer. Link makes a quick appearance in it as well, his role being to show the difference between him and the annoying man bugging the shop owner. A decent little read for a few good laughs.

Lands Apart

I've finally begun work on this. Though it's true that I'm still working on OTNE, I was starting to get ideas for this story, so I thought, what the heck, I'll work on this too. Originally it was called Away From Hyrule, and I wrote and finished it in 2003; however, I was really unhappy with how the story turned out because I rushed through it. Now I'm basically redoing it. It's going to be a completely new story with a few elements from the last one. It'll have all the same characters from AFH, but it's going to be a bit more epic than before.

It starts right as Link is sent back in time after OoT to live the seven years that he had lost. It goes on through the events of Majora's Mask and after. At that point, the Fierce Deity's Mask will play a very significant role in the story, as will the Triforce and Ganondorf. I have some of my own characters that were also in the last story, and I plan on developing them a little bit better this time around.

Lost Hero

This one is pretty decent, but I had major writer's block when I got to chapter 13 and got completely stuck. As it is, it's not my most amazing work, but it was good for its time. I might finish it one day, but that won't happen until I finish with Lands Apart. Read it if you feel the need. It's good for comparing my old work to my new stuff. Plus, the plot was kind of fun, so you might just enjoy it.

This story takes place in a country to the far Southeast of Hyrule where the humans and elves of the land are in a perpetual war with each other. Link ends up going there and winds up on the elves' side of the struggles. However, he's injured terribly in battle and loses his memory of who he is, and why he's even there. A mysterious figure calling himself Dark Axe seems to know who he is, but his past history with the man is a blur, and he can only hope to survive long enough to regain his memories and discover the secret behind the war, his reason for being there, and how to stop Dark Axe.
