My name's Lena, I'm 23. I love writing; mostly in my native language, Russian that is, but I find English very beautiful and enjoy using and improving it anytime I can.

My major is programming and math, but I found creative stuff more appealing. I love music, poetry (reading would be better way to put it) and history (my main interests are WW2, Great Syberian Ice March (and White movement in Russia), Hundred Years' War, Inquisition, Medieval times in general and Caesar vs Pompey war). My other hobbies are sky-diving, fencing and mixed martial arts (MMA rocks ;).

And, well, obviously I love Crisis Core with Sephiroth and Genesis as my favorites, ever :) I'm totally stuck with them.

As for things that I really hate... can name only two. Vanilla coke and Harry Potter. And, ah, alcoholic beverages of any kind -- otherwise, I'd never get far in MMA or fencing. Out of FF7 world I strongly dislike Cloud and Aerith; I find nothing interesting to think about in their characters. To me they are just puerile children.

A/N: As a writer I don't care what environment the characters find themselves in - canon, totally AU, etc. I only care about characters being canon, which is the most important part for me. So I am going to experiment a lot, but one thing will remain the same. In all of my stories both Sephiroth and Genesis are going to be strong yet tragic characters. In Sephiroth's character the key part of him will be the general (I have to say I have a weakness for great generals, military tactics, weapons, etc; I admit I even have a favorite aircraft carrier :) It is Russian though). So don't expect him to be fluffy or sappy in my stories (which certainly doesn't mean he can't love :)). He's quite idealistic and morale, as I saw him in CC. My favorite Seph's quote is "I always thought mine was a special existence" so I'll be playing a lot with this as well. As for Genesis... he is a more flexible and volatile character, mostly very cynical and cruel, so no romantics there either (honestly, I am not a romantic person at all). I love tragedies, so there'll be a lot of that. I write yaoi (although nothing explicit), but I don't write fluff, explicit smut or general sugariness, childishness and melodrama. On top of that I love battle scenes, they might be graphic or light, depends on the story, and I love ideas, deep and versatile, so most of my stories will not be of an easy entertainment kind.

Current Projects:

Devil's spawn: I fell in love with historical AU :) Well... Genesis was raised among Dominican brothers after his mother was burnt for heresy. And Sephiroth is the last bastard of French king Philip IV who was born after his death. The drama centers around their lives and eventual meeting, how it changed and influenced them. There will be religious themes, religious manipulation, mentions of auto-da-fe and slight madness (Genesis has a childhood trauma). Reading it, bear in mind that it is a historical fiction, although includes a lot of real personalities and events. Also in this story I am going to address a lot of complicated philosophical and theological issues, so if it bores you, don't read. France at the beginning of Hundred Years' war.

Master of the steel bird: A very short fic, two parts, battle of Midway during the WW2. Basically my attempt to tell an American pilot's story through Seph, of course. Very enjoyable and interesting so far. :) As writing has always been, though :)

PS. I adored this picture the moment I saw it :) Seph is an epitome of pride and dignity on it, so like his essence it made me fall in love with it at once :)
