Author has written 8 stories for Yu Yu Hakusho, Anime X-overs, Fushigi Yuugi, Fruits Basket, and Katekyo Hitman Reborn!. Wow, um, I can't believe I'm updating this thing. I hit retirement back in 2004, it's 2010 now and I'm writing fanfics again. Unfortunately, my writing skills have only improved slightly during the six year absence. Well, basic stats. User Name: Just call me TnM Age: Old DOB: 4/19/88 Gender: Female Ethnicity: Asian. Family is Vietnamese with a mix of Chinese from my great-great grandfather. Likes: Anime, manga, dollfies, cosplay. Dislikes: Too many to list Personality: I have multiple kinds. But I'm mostly outspoken, opinionated, and have the tendency to joke around. Other times I'm just being lazy. Thanks to my currently favorite anime, Katekyo Hitman Reborn, I picked up the laptop and started typing away once again for FF.net. I'm slow on my updates due to college with a combination of part time jobs. Looking back at my old work makes me cringe, so don't expect me to ever touch those fanfics again. EVER. What I like/dislike in a fanfic: 1. Good spelling and grammar. This is number one. No matter how good your plot is, horrible writing skills can kill it instantly. 2. Badly written OCs. I'm seeing a lot of these in the KHR fandom. I have nothing against them, since I add OCs all the time in my stories. But when you make the character too perfect, you're asking for it. And for God's sake, don't go into full detail on how unique they look. "Her hair was the color of golden water with purple streaks on the side. While her turquoise eyes were perfectly almond shaped." NO. In the end you're going to have some kind of alien creature made out of rainbows. 3. Keep the character IN character. A little OOC is OKAY, but don't over do it. Current fanfics: A Skylark's Wings (In progress): A Hibari centric story. It tells the hidden past of eight year old Hibari Kyouya, an unstable boy who runs into the current head of the discipline committee (OC WARNING). As he learns under the head perfect, parts of his past are revealed, connecting to the Hibari we know in the present time. Some of his memories hold happy times, but there are also tragedies, which threaten to consume his being. Also has a hint of 1827 for you BL gals. | |||||||
