Brief bio: I was born in China and moved to the United States when I was five. I can speak and understand Chinese, other than for a few idioms and technical terms. I cannot read and write Chinese beyond a second-grade level, however. I love to read, mainly fiction, with fantasy and sci-fi my favorite genres. I also enjoy writing (fanfiction and original works), singing, watching good movies, and playing chess. I am currently serving in the military.

My fics: Unity series, starting with A Twist of Fate. The Dursleys don't want Harry, so they leave him at an orphanage without a note. He is given the name of James Evan Lydell. There, two older twins (also magical), Stuart and Stella Lydell, become his adoptive siblings, and he becomes best friends with Mariko Kishi and Kyle Carter, who join him at Hogwarts. Once at Hogwarts, they decide to try for house unity, and end up forming a group named Unity consisting of most of the students in their year and half of the students in the following year. When an exchange program is set up with Japan's magic school, the exchange students in their years also join. James/Harry is a Metamorphmagus in this series, so he is able to hide his identity and nobody outside of Unity, his adoptive siblings, Sirius, Remus, Snape, Dobby, Fred, George, and Dumbledore know who he really is. Currently writing Unity and the Order of Phoenix, in which Voldemort has returned to power and Unity is dealing with things.

A Different Future- The Dursleys don't want Harry, so Vernon tries to leave him on the steps of a church. A Romany (Gypsy) witch catches him and her family decides to adopt Harry, giving him the name of Alexander Jacob Romanov and pretending that he is the twin brother to their daughter, Elisabeth (Beth). He is told the truth about his identity when he gets his Hogwarts letter, and outside of his immediate and extended adoptive family, Remus Lupin, his friends, Dumbledore, and the four heads of house, nobody else knows the truth.

Saved from Darkness- A sort of prequel to A Different Future. After his friendship with Lily ends, Snape spends the summer as an apprentice to Ilsa Petrov (Harry/Alex's adoptive maternal grandmother) at her apothecary, since that is one of the requirements in order to achieve a Potions mastery. He slowly heals, and it will go into more detail about things alluded to in a chapter of A Different Future. Written for reviewer Elspeth25, who wanted the backstory to Snape as protrayed in the first fic.

A New Life Path- An AU set in the same universe as my fics A Different Future and Saved from Darkness. After Severus is punished by his father for getting his Hogwarts letter and insisting on attending, Eileen Snape has enough and leaves Tobias. She takes her son to Ilsa Petrov, whom she works for at the apothecary, and the two end up moving in with the Petrovs. Severus's life now takes a turn for the better, and things will change from there. Currently on hiatus until I can work out how I want the story to go, or if someone wants to take over writing it.

Nightwind School of Magic- A school of magic founded by an English wizard named Geoffrey Nightwind and his wife, a French witch named Marie Lavelle Nightwind. It takes witches and wizards with great talent or potential or are the children of previous students. The school is rather liberal and teaches students to treat others as equals regardless of lineage or race. Lily, Severus, Sirius, James, and Remus attend Nightwind School and with their roommates, form a group of friends known as the Phoenix Club. The story will go through their years at Nightwind School and move on to their children.

For me, crazy is a loose term. Crazy is when you stare at a pencil and laugh when someone asks you just what you find so interesting about the eraser. Crazy is when you have an hour long sob-fest, then start singing and dancing when your favorite song plays.
