Hi! I'm Kelly, and will one day be an author. I'm currently writing my first novel. My first story here is called After The Twilight, which continues the novel by Stephenie Meyer. It takes place in the time after the end of the first book, but before New Moon.

Update: I've now uploaded chapter 5 of my Hunger Games fanfiction: 'The Love Games' so please take a look and leave your comments. :D - Also, check out my new story 'Mockingjay Epilogue' if you like The Hunger Games.

Details of the contest (for my reference):

The contest will be divided into 3 rounds!

In Round 1, every author will submit the following:

1) Your book title & description- similar to what you would find on the back cover of a book or the “about the book” section on Amazon

2)Your author biography (photo optional)

3) The first two chapters of your book!

Once all of this information is uploaded an on your Author Page, it will be made available to the public and the Hampton Roads Publishing editorial review committee.

Once your page is live, “Let the voting begin!”We will then invite readers to check out all author pagesRead the submitted chaptersAnd VOTE for whom they think should go on to Round 2.

The Hampton Roads Publishing editorial committee will also review all Author Pages and chapter submissions.

Round 1 will run for approximately 2 months, giving readers from ALL OVER THE GLOBE an opportunity to read and vote on which books they CAN’T WAIT to read the next chapters of!At the end of Round 1, the top 20% of all submissions (as decided by the Hampton Roads Publishing editorial committee) will advance to Round 2.

Those authors that advance to Round 2 will submit the following:

1) Chapters 3 and 4 of your book! Let the voting continue! Round 2 will run for approximately 3 weeks, giving readers from ALL OVER THE GLOBE to voice their opinions and tell us which books they most want to continue reading! At the end of Round 2, the Top 10 of all submissions (as decided by the Hampton Roads Publishing editorial committee) will advance to Round 3.

Those authors who submit to Round 3 will submit the following:

1) Chapters 5 and 6 of your book. Round 3 will last approximately 2 weeks, allowing readers one final opportunity weigh in on what book they cant wait to finish and who should earn the title of the Next Best Fiction Author! At the end of Round 3, the recipient of the book publishing contract will be chosen by the Hampton Roads Publishing Editorial committee and announced to the world!The Winner Will Be Chosen and Announced!

Important Dates to Remember:

May 1- June 30 = Round One

July 1-21 = Round Two

July 22-31 = Round Three
