I am moving my Music Shuffle Challenges (I've now written over forty!) to this archive, slowly - there will be no warnings on them, save the appropriate slash/het, as they can contain just about anything. There is a note on what you might find in my Shuffles here. Also, if you're interested, you can check out my version of the Rules for them. Sometimes I write one-shots that are expansions of a scribblet from a Shuffle, as well, some of which are already posted here - they say so inside, in my author's notes.

I am always willing to listen and consider prompts or ideas, so feel free to throw them my way.

All right, people, it's that time again - I am opening the floor for prompts!

I don't have a specific closing date for this particular prompt-requesting plea of mine, but it will probably be open for a week or two.

Fandom and/or pairing-wise, well, specifically, at this time, I am particularly hoping for prompts for my Severus/Harry series of drabbles, but I am open to anything at all, just like usual. Any fandom or pairing is cool, as far as I'm concerned, for requests/prompts. (I really need to try and compile a list of what all fandoms/pairings I'll write for, but man, being such a fandom-whore it is hard to pin down. If you're curious if I'm familiar with/will write in a fandom/pairing, just ask me.) The list of fandoms I read for with stretches into the hundreds, few of those are single pairing fandoms for me, and the number of those I've written for - even if I haven't published anything yet - is in the sixties now.

Prompts, of course, are not restricted to things that I can fit into any of my drabble series, or even a drabble in general. Anything you want to prompt for, let me know - you might just perk my muse into a one-shot. Prompts can also be as simple or complex as you would like to make them. A single word, or a scene that you would like to see fleshed out, or lyrics you think would be a cool base for a story, or even just a pairing and a mood/genre.

I may not write something for every prompt, but I will consider every prompt - if you send me something that I just know I won't write, for whatever reason, I will send you a message with an apology and explanation.

If you want to refresh yourself - guidelines have changed a bit, but not much, I promise - or you weren't around for the previous times I've done this, this is how it works:

Step one: You send me a prompt.
--You may send as many as you like.
--You may send by PM, review, or email. (I may have some difficulty receiving morse code, smoke signals, or carrier pigeon, but I'm game if you are.)

Step two: I read your prompt, smile, and put it in a list, along with your name.
--If you want me not to say who prompted the story your prompt inspired, just tell me when you prompt, and I will just reveal the prompt, not its author.
--If you want me to let you know when I post something based upon your prompt, let me know when you send it, and I will send you a message.

Step three: I send you a message thanking you hugely for indulging me.
--Seriously, I adore getting and writing for prompts from people, so you are indulging me.
--I promise I'm no more crazy than usual this way, just giddy at having ideas people want me to write.

Step four: I read the list of prompts, cackle madly, and write many things.
--This step can and will be repeated over time.
--I may go back to this list for inspiration later as well.

Step five: I post the story your prompt inspired, with a note saying who and what inspired it, and thanks again. (If you requested it of me, I send you a message about the newly posted story from your prompt.)
--If the story is a one-shot, it may take a long time to finish writing sticky bits and to polish it up for posting.
--If the story is a drabble, it may take a while for it to come up in the list of finished drabbles to post.

That's it, in my own manically descriptive words!
