country: United States

Name:... wouldn't you like to know. Okay, okay so it starts with "K" and ends in "arina" if you still can't figure it out then your on your own.

Age: 23 years old soon to be 24 but no one believes me everyone thinks I'm 19 at the most, guess it's not such a bad thing I'm still hanging on to the whole fountain of youth idea for as long as I can!!

Nationality: Mexican-American and lovin' it. My ancestors did create the calender after all! I think we also predicted the end of the world, whoa scary...

Description: I'm not too tall but not too short either, okay so I'm 5'2. It could be worse, I could be 4'2, still doesn't help when I'm one of the shortest in the house. A lot of my family is shockingly tall, so depressing...anyways, I'm light brown skinned and have brown curly, curly hair. Used to be hard to manage but has gotten a lot easier to take care of what with all the new hair care products I have. My hair is pretty long especially when it is straitened! Dark brown eyes and I'm slender! So there you have it, and as for style I wear what ever feels comfortable, 'er well whatever isn't too wrinkled...not too much of a fan of ironing!

Hometown: Small town that is beginning to become annoyingly over populated, I really am more of a small town kind of girl!! By the way did I spell "annoyingly" right? Oh well, I should use spellcheck! _

Goals/Destination in life: To be a good if not great teacher/nurse which ever comes first, and I am open to traveling to a different state to fulfill my goals!

Hobbies: sorry to many to list but I am pretty open to doing new and exciting things, anything I can laugh about later!

Now to the good stuff...

...why did I join fanfiction.net? well I was really into this story by this really great author and I followed her story about the relationship between Uncas and Alice from the Last of the Mohicans when I came across some of her other stories that led me to fanfiction.net and BAMMM!! One thing led to another and I was hooked to a variety of stories! Some of the writing of these stories amazes me, I can't believe the depth to some of these stories. The writers really are inspiring, obviously they have some serious creativity to go off of one story line and create a whole new storyline! There are alot of gifted writers who are aspiring novelists, I mean seriously some of this stuff should be published and hollywood should be contacted, though very rarely is a good written story conveyed accordingly on screen! So now I am a fanfic.net addict and have a great number of authors growing in my favorites section!!

Favorite Movies: Last of the Mohicans obviously, I love my Uncas!! 13th warrior which was in my opinion an underrated film. Smoke Signals is an amazingly beautiful film. LOTR Trilogy, Harry Potter Trilogy (yes, yes I am a fan), C.of Narnia, mmmmm what else?...Oh yeah the Motorcycle Diaries, and I really loved Apocalypto! Mulan, Pocahontas, Alice in Wonderland, Sleeping Beauty, Nothing to Lose...well I'm sure there are more but this list could go on forever!

Favorite books: Twilight series, THE HOBBIT, Amy Tan books, I thought that I would read Coopers LOTM just for Uncas but the book was hideously unreadable that I'll just stick to watching the movie and forget it ever happened, presently I am reading the book The Shack and it is truly beautiful. You have to read it!

Favorite Peom: Forgiving our Fathers by Dick Lourie, I was first introduced to it at the end of the film Smoke Signals, it is a must read peom and must see movie. This is the movie version:

How do we forgive our Fathers?
Maybe in a dream
Do we forgive our Fathers for leaving us too often or forever
when we were little?

Maybe for scaring us with unexpected rage
or making us nervous
because there never seemed to be any rage there at all.

Do we forgive our Fathers for marrying or not marrying our Mothers?
For Divorcing or not divorcing our Mothers?

And shall we forgive them for their excesses of warmth or coldness?
Shall we forgive them for pushing or leaning
for shutting doors
for speaking through walls
or never speaking
or never being silent?

Do we forgive our Fathers in our age or in theirs
or their deaths
saying it to them or not saying it?

If we forgive our Fathers what is left?

Favorite color: hmm...can't choose one, but I like summer colors and I do like the color red. Preferably on my nails!

Favorite Food: used to love chinese food but now I am doing my best to try one burger from every place in town, and no I am not hidiously overweight I eat them in extreme moderation. I do love Italian food, spagetti and garlic bread are my faves at the moment, and of course life isn't the same without grannies tamalies! Yes I am a Mex-American afterall, can't live with out tamalies and in my case the stereotype is true I love rice and bean burritos, please no cheap shots or low blows peeps!!...oh and before I forget I don't care too much for chocolate unless it's in my milk, ice cream, smore, or unless it's in a Twix candy bar!

Pairings I love: UncasMe (tee-hee-hee_) or UncasAlice(LOTM), ArwenAragorn(LOTR), AliceJasper,RosalieEmmett(Both couples from Twilight), PaulRachel (ALSO Twilight)

Pairings I don't so much like: JacobRennesme and EmilySam (sorry guys I just think that this isn't how it should have gone, For a few simple reasons ...1. I was really ef'ed that Jake spent all that time loving the mother only to end up with the daughter, 2. Leah deserved a better break, 3. Emily shouldn't have betrayed her fav cuz like that, and 4. Sam really hurt Leah!!

...sorry guys I don't mean to be a hater. I know this is the way it went and there is nothing that can be done about it but I still feel things could have ended differently, but I still like all the characters and I have nothing against them. In fact Jacob happens to be the guy I like better than that Edward Cullen, eeewwwwww!! Come on Bella, you should have stuck with Jake!! Go Team Jacob!! I run with wolves!!

Fanfics I am interested in are: those of Last of the Mohicans, Twilight, 13th warrior and I am trying to read other ones but for now these are what I am reading. If you can recommend anything feel free to!!

Favorite actresses (sorry for misspelling) Cate Blachett, Julianne Moore, Laura Linney, Susan Sarandon, Sally Field, Meryl Streep, Jodie Foster, Madeline Stowe, Tilda Swinton, Kate Winslet, THE LATES Audrey and Katherine Hepburn, and a great lady Lauren Bacall...and the list continues

Favorite actors(sorry again) Gael Garcia Bernal, Diego Luna, Benicio Del Toro, Pacino, De Niro, Pesci, Harrison Ford, Giovanni Ribisi, Tom Hanks who I think is one of the most gracious men alive, Paul Newman and Humphrey Bogard (RIP), and Wes Studi is another amazing actor who should have won an oscar for Magua in LOTM.

Lets have some fun...

Quotes:

Addams Family Values
(Gomez refers to the girl popping out of the cake at a bachelor party)
Was she in there before you baked it?

Addams Family Values
Gomez: Children, why do you hate the baby?
Pugsley: We don't hate him. We just wanna play with him.
Wednesday: Especially his head.

Pineapple Express

Red: Why don't you follow his lead and just chill out, man?
Dale Denton: I'm chill. I'm chill as a cucumber, man.
Red: You don't seem chill.
Dale Denton: I'm more chill than you.
Red: You're more chill than me?
Dale Denton: Yeah.
Red: Look what I'm wearing. Kimono, dog. What're you wearing?
Dale Denton: A suit.
Red: Yeah, exactly. I don't know what's up with you, but I don't know if I like you.
Dale Denton: Well, I don't know if I like you either, man.
Red: Well, that's your loss 'cause I'm a great friend.

Pineapple Express:

Dale Denton: while hiding in the woods, on the run from Ted's henchmen Even if he found that roach, how could he find us?
Saul: Um... heat-seeking missiles... bloodhounds... and foxes... barracudas...
Dale Denton: I'm just - I'm kind of flabbergasted when you say things like that. It's weird.
Saul: Thank you.
Dale Denton: Not a compliment.

Pineapple Express:

Saul: Let's roll, man! I'm done with the woods! Let's go! C'mon, man, let's get the fuck outta' here!
Dale Denton: sarcastically Okay... Uhh let's go... No... It's not working... the battery's dead.
Saul: Wait...! What do you mean it's dead?
Dale Denton: laughing What do I mean? I mean the battery's dead. The battery's dead!
Saul: No, no! What do you mean, the battery's dead?
Dale Denton: How can I explain this to you differently? The battery is dead. It ceased to live. It's deceased now. The car needs a battery to start, Saul.
Saul: frustrated sigh How did this happen?
Dale Denton: Well we clearly fell asleep with the battery on and-...
Saul: Aw, man... Talk radio?
Dale Denton: Yes, talk radio.
Saul: So boring, man! The car just committed suicide.

Pineapple Express

Dale Denton: You killed my ear!
Matheson: You shot me!
Dale Denton: I didn't do that!
Matheson: HE shot me!
Dale Denton: You shot him?
Saul: nods his head
Matheson: Get your hands off me!
Saul: Shut up! we've had enough of you!
Matheson: I'm not your friend!

I'll add more quotes later...

Oh wait here's one:

From the Film: Were No Angels can be viewed here : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lcf62cO_TlE&feature=related

Father Browns (Sean Penn) speech to the crowd: In this scene he is in front of everyone not having prepared a speech and terrified because he isn't Father Brown at all but an escaped convict along with De Niro in this film. He is terrified because he has never been a religious man and doesn't know what to say, but he happens to have a brochure in his bible about an encounter with a bear, which he begins to read out loud:

Have you ever felt
completely alone?

"Alone in a world

"of danger, and no one
to rely on?

"Danger on every hand,
in a world fraught with danger,

"and at the brink of death,
I felt in my pocket,
and what did I find?"

What did I find?

(flips the brochure over and realizes it's an add for guns, then has an epiphany, and realizes that he understands all too well how his fears are the same fears that the people have and openly expresses them)

Nothing.

There's nothing there.

It's all in your head.

Well, they can take the money
from you.

They can take the position
from you.

I don't know, they can whip you.

People turn their back on you.

Everything happens to everybody.

And you ain't gonna find nothing
in your pocket,

that can stave it off.

Nothing can stave it off!

Pain...

affliction... we say "power."

Power doesn't do it.

"Cause you'll never have enough!

Money?
I don't know.

You know anybody who has enough?
Still, trouble befalls us.

Everyone has that sadness
in their heart.

Some people are meant
to be hard.
I don't know.

It seems like they are.
We meet them.

Is God good?

I don't know.

All I know is...
something might give you
comfort.

And maybe you deserve it.
If it comforts you,
to believe in God, you do it.
That's your business.

People have guilty...
you know...
guilty secrets.

But if that's yours, that you
want to go believe in something?

Well, that's not so bad.

Now on to inspiration stuff:

The Serenity Prayer goes like this:

"God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference."
