I'm a hopeless Slayers fan, who just can't get enough of it...

Currently studying something... (no, even I have no idea what I'm studying!)

And when I finally manage to release some of my stories, they are going to be Lina x Gourry all the way! (+other trad) So, if you don't like that, don't read any of them...

For the people who support non canon pairings (L/X, A/F, L/Z, S/G and other freaky mixes); "You people don't respect Hajime Kanzaka or Slayers! You are twisting The Greatest Series Ever and it makes me sick!" ...Ok... Maybe that is a little extreme... But DON'T mess with Lina and Gourry! (They are the only seriously-canon-couple anyway...)

Seriously! Whats the deal with the birds and the bees? Its just sex isn't it?... If anyone would like to share what birds and bees have to do with sex, I'd be more than happy to learn! (in Finland they just tell us how things are and don't go beating around the bush...)

Why does everyone think Val is going to be in human form when he is born/hatches? Even Filia has trouble looking like a human some times... Shouldn't he be something like Spyro?

What I hate probably the most is when authors leave a good story unfinished!! Grr =_= (directs a menasing glare at people who have done 'that which shall not be named')

I'm a deeply religious person! And I crusade for my believes! --I'm on a crusade to announce the glory of Slayers and Lina x Gourry romance!-- And to get Gourry off of the idiot picture people seem to have about him! He isn't stupid! How do you think he managed before he met Lina?

And as you have probably noticed already, "I'm obsessed with L/G!!"

I remembered something important! Everyone has heard the joke that Gourry doesn't know what sex is, right? Well now I can prove otherwise! Every real Slayers fan has heard of the ordeal in novel 6, where Lina asks, "Actually," I began, then paused. "I'd like you to, well...keep me company tonight."("Non-euphemistic sword practice") Well, Lina of course wonders why he is blushing and he says, "Uh..." Gourry scratched his head uncomfortably. "Well, when a man and a woman love each other very-"!! If that doesn't prove my point, than nothing will...

I'm sure every Slayers fan has their own theory of what exactly magic is in the Slayers universe. I have been giving this way too much thought so I can't let it be not written down where other people have no access to it.

I think all magic in the Slayers universe is different types of summoning. Starting from the top we have the so called chaos magic and it's no secret that it draws its power from the lord of nightmares. The giga slave spell actually summons her like was discovered in the novels and Next and is dangerous because -like mentioned by Kanzaka- the lord of nightmares wishes to be one with her 'children' ones more and by summoning her you give her the chase to do just that. the ragna blade on the other hand summons only a part of her power resulting in a blade of dark energy, but it is still summoning! (as a side note I have a feeling that Gods are the real 'evil' -if there is such a thing as evil- in the Slayer universe, because they are going against their maker, mother or what ever you want to call it...)

Black magic on the other hand -like everyone should know- draws power from the Mazoku and if there isn't a Mazoku to draw power from the spell doesn't work, because it's missing its fuel (Gaav flare being a good example of this). Again, 'drawing power from = partial summoning' in my books.

Holy magic is a very similar case with black magic, the only real difference being that it draws power from the dragons (I have only heard of drawing power from the dragon lords but...).

Shamanism or shamanisk magic -or what ever you want to call it- is my favorite part of this argument... I ground my whole theory on the way that Golems are made in the Slayers universe, its basically a process of summoning and binding an earth spirit into the rock. So, I thought, "Why couldn't the fireball spell for example involve summoning a spirit related to fire and giving it the order to form into a ball of fire?" Then I started to think about the different areas of Shamanism that are separated in the Slayers universe, them being fire, water, earth, air and spirit. After this I thought about White magic (Which is usually thought to be the opposite of black magic, which by the way is incorrect for two reasons. The first being the simple fact that black magic isn't defined as 'evil' or dark, it just draws its power from the mazoku (that aren't that 'evil' really... they just have a different perspective than gods and humans do.) and this brings us to what is the second reason why white isn't the opposite of black, Holy magic is the real opposite of black magic because Mazoku are the opposite of Gods.) and I came to the conclusion that white magic is really just another part of the shamanisk branch of magic, only separeted from it because of its different purpose, that being Healing and exorcism. Anywho, back to the main argument, I believe that all these things that are done by magic involve summoning the correct spirit and them giving it the orders of what to do in a way it understands and so is explained the need for chanting something -aloud or not-. (This actually explains why Martina was able to complite her curse without any real knowledge of magic... She thought about it hard enough and a spirit -or Mazoku- for all we know heard her and understood what she wanted.)

I love the Slayers universe because of the fact of how balanced and logical the world really is. Different people have been confused about some of the things about the Slayers world, but usually there is a logical answer to them. (Remembering that logical in this case means that it ablies to the prelaid rules of the slayers universe.) Also the absence of any real 'evil' and 'good' is fantastic in making the Slayers universe seem more believable, there really isn't anything in the real world that everyone can point at and say "That's evil" now is there? All the shades of grey make the world just so much more balanced!

I have seen a cow fly... There was this tornado and a man with a camera... And he had the brilliant idea of turning it into a documentary... By the way, it wasn't pretty when the cow decided to land after flying about a few hundred meters...

Of course Slayers is't the only manga or anime that I read/watch... Hellsing, Fullmetal Alchemist, Ranma, Naruto, Bleach, 666 Satan, Neon Genesis Evangelion (Emo crap most of the time, but its like a horrible train wreck... You just can't look away...) and Pokemon (Childhood friend, the first Anime that I ever watched...) coming to mind right now.

Hellsing ended... That was a real bummer, but it wasn't a bad ending so I quess I have to just live with it...

Naruto is going steady, but I'm trying to find a reason to keep reading Bleach... (There just isn't much story there, but it wouldn't feel right to just stop after watching it for an odd number of years)
