Author has written 5 stories for Twilight.
I'm pleased to announce that Impact is complete. I'm both excited and humbled by the response to the ending of the story. Thanks to everyone for your kind words, thoughtful reviews and continued support. It's very much appreciated.
A huge thank you to everyone who was a part of Impact being voted into the number eight spot in Twi Fic Recs Top Ten Favorite Fics completed in the month of March.I can't begin to express what it means to me that so many of you participated. Thanks, again. Thanks to my awesome kid for nominating it.
In the near future I hope to post a few outtakes, so please continue to keep Impact in your story alerts if you're interested in reading more. I've had a few thought provoking requests, and trust me, long before I hit the complete button, I was already considering several things that just didn't fit into the story in any specific place. If there's something you'd really like to see, don't be afraid to PM me, we'll see what we can do to make that happen.
I look forward to bringing Sweetbriar to completion in 2013. I can't promise how often updates will come or that there will be any sort of regular schedule, but I'm currently working on the next chapter and have reworked the chapters that are currently posted. I will repost all ten chapters just prior to posting 11. So, when you receive the notification for chapter 11, I urge you to go back to the beginning. There will be subtle changes that make the story flow better. When I went through them, I was appalled by the errors I found. Hopefully that's all been taken care of.
I'm working on getting my own site up and running where I can post stories in the manner that I choose where there aren't constraints dictating the content I post or the manner in which I do it. I will post a link here as soon as it is live.
I continue to come across various pieces of technology for individuals with disabilities. Even though Impact is completed, I will continue to not only maintain, but also add things to the Impact Blogger. It's packed full of real life information from college grants and scholarships for individuals with disabilities, to state of the art wheelchairs and accessible vehicles. I've also included information on those books I've referred to in the story. You know the ones. ;-)
Please, if you know someone with a disability who is struggling to find a product that will make life easier, share the blogger with them. Necessity is the mother of invention and there are some truly amazing things out there. I originally started the blogger as a way to show my Impact readers some of the devices I discussed in the story, but it quickly became so much more. Every single link is for a real life piece of technology, good, or service designed for individuals who have disabilities.
As always, if you have a question about a piece of technology or where to get products or services, please send me a PM, tweet or message on the blogger. If I can't answer your question, I'll refer you to someone who can.
I hope 2013 holds all sorts of wonderful things for you, my author friends and readers, you've come to mean the world to me.
I look forward to both reading and writing more in the new year.
The world of literature holds all sorts of wonderful surprises.
That is all.

Impact has had a facelift!
In an attempt to streamline the appearance of my chapters, I've done some housecleaning. No longer are there author's notes at the top of my pages. Pertinent information will be posted in the footer after the chapter.
That being said, I wanted to give credit where it is due.
Team Impact is Debbie, Sherry, Alexa, Patti, Amy Sandy, Betty and Jeanne. I could never do this without them and believe me when I say you wouldn't want to read this before they get their hands on it and work their magic. Thanks ladies, you'll never know how much I appreciate all your hard work.
