Author has written 22 stories for House, M.D., and Bones. About me: As much as I enjoy writing, this particular aspect, the describe-yourself-so-that-other-people-will-like-you aspect, has never particularly appealed to me. Nonetheless, I recognize its' necessity and will do my best to make myself sound like a real human being. My name is Rachel, I am a 20 year old college student, pursuing a career in either classical singing/opera or anthropology, depending on the day and what sort of mood I'm in. I live in Chicago and, while it's a nice city, I want nothing more than to go back to Italy, where I spent six weeks last summer, and sit in the piazza eating gelato and enjoying being alive. I first started writing fanfiction when I was very young and in love with The X-Files, though it pains me now to reread some of those first attempts. Hopefully I've improved by now. Current television loves are House and Bones, the latter having caught my eye because of my own anthropological interest, which predated my discovery of the show. I'm still learning my way around these fandoms, and the idea of fandom in general, and I'm having quite a lot of fun delving into the lives of these characters. Regarding feedback: It's always very much appreciated, though I've sworn to myself that I will never directly request it, as I write for my own enjoyment and distraction and do not require outside validation. Still, though, I can't deny the little jolt of happiness that surges through me whenever I see a review in my inbox. I try to respond to each review (I just discovered that you could do that- how cool!), though life intervenes sometimes and complicates things.
