The Reviewer Revolution

I, Taryn Streambattle, do solemnly swear to review every story I read, both enjoyable and atrocious. I will give credit where it is due and will never leave a review that reads like "gr8 job! i luv this so much so plz update asap!11". I recognize my right of freedom of speech, and I acknowledge that I am entitled to my honest opinion - not that of the majority of your readers. I also promise to enforce the rules of this site and will not hold back on reminding you that by posting your work on this site for everyone to see, I am allowed to review how I see fit and if you do not like it, you can either leave the site or limit the viewing of your work to only your friends and family. I have joined the Review Revolution. Post this in your profile if you too join the Revolution.

A Note About Shipping-
I last updated this profile nearly a year ago. Since then, I've changed a lot as a person. Not only is my shipping now mainly based on the contrasts and and comparisons between characters, which allows for me to ship more than one character with more than one person- just not at the same time or universe. Furthermore, Shipping just doesn't interest me as much as it once did. I enjoy stories about friendship more than stories about shipping, and while I still read and enjoy pairing stories, I don't find it necessary to actively defend OTPs anymore.
If anything, I have firmer opinions about which romances are bad because of either stupidity/age of characters involved, or simply because the romance in-canon is forced/progressing too fast and unrealistic or psychologically/physically/emotionally unhealthy.
So instead of listing all the pairings I ship, crack or not, I've decided to just write for now and if I deem it appropriate or want to practice my romance skills, maybe you'll get a couple of oneshots featuring some of the couples I deem more interesting.
Fandoms come and go for me, but I have several fandoms that remain at the top of the list no matter how much time goes by. (Not listed in order) Title, medium, content rating and quality rating

"In my books there is life and death. Goodies get killed as well as baddies. It’s not like Walt Disney where there are singing teapots and we all go over the hill singing bobbidy-bobbidy-boo at the end so goodies get killed as well as baddies." - Brian Jacques, author of Redwall
"No, you don't get it. You think you get it, which is not the same as actually getting it. Get it?" -Hatake Kakashi.
"Those that break the rules and regulations are scum. But those who abandon their comrades are worse than scum."- Uchiha Obito
"I don't want to survive, I want to live!"- Captain B. McCrea, Wall-E
Bad fanfiction is like cockroaches. Every time you swat one, a zillion more pop up, and when you turn around, they turn out not to be dead.
"Make sure you bring a litter bag in the car. If it gets full, you can always chuck it out the window."- Will Hobbs
