Author has written 1 story for Twilight.

Where are you? When's the next update? Have you given up on this story??

Eh. No, I haven't given up. I'm just . . . stalled. See, here's what happened. I saw the new Star Trek movie and fell in love with the Spock/Uhura pairing.

I then became completely obsessed. You know how the whole Twilight universe just gripped you when you became a fan and started writing fanfitcion? Yeah, well, my Twilight obession got ecplised. I even started a new community here on FF for yummy Spock/Uhura stories: "Oh, for the love of Spock." Heh.

And then, I saw Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Now I've always be a huge fan of the books, and have enjoyed the movies (awful as they are at time), but this time realized that my enjoyment didn't have to end--there was fanfiction! I can hardly believe that I'd never read any HP fanfiction before then. So, anyhow, I got obsessed all over again, and I've been reading HP stories pretty much nonstop since then (and I do mean nonstop--most nights I don't go to bed till three or four in the morning).

However--and this is a pretty pivotal transition--I just saw the New Moon movie. And guess what? It's amazing. Honestly. I was surprised at how good it was. So, maybe, just possibly, my muse has been jumpstarted. After all, who could resist a wolf with no shirt on, right? So, hopefully, I'll be posting again soon. Gotta go dig up my notes...

I'm a relatively new Twilighter, having become a fan after seeing the movie. I enjoy well-written, in-character fanfiction that fills in the gaps in the books, or adds believable plotlines to the canon. I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to adding favourite authors/stories, so you can be assured that the ones I have listed are excellent!

I've had some experience copyediting and editing, and I have a degree in English Literature, with a minor in Creative Writing. That being said, I prefer to read rather than write. So, if you see any good fanfiction out there, send it my way!

I try to leave helpful, constructive reviews on the stories I read. I can't stand seeing "Gr8 stry!" or "Update soon" left as reviews--those are silly, unhelpful responses. Better to say what you liked (or didn't like) about the story than to leave an unhelpful review. :-)

My story

Anna, a white girl adopted into a Quileute family, moves to La Push with her family. Strange things happen, beginning with a fantastic transformation by Anna's brother. What is this mythical world Anna has been thrust into? Will La Push give up its secrets, or will it all be too much for Anna to bear? Set during Eclipse. Canonical.

I plan on updating this story and adding new chapters every few days. I have several chapters written already, so, as I edit (and re-edit and revise and re-edit and revise), I'll be updating. Do review and let me know what you think, ask questions, give constructive criticism. I'd love to know what you think!

Haven of Family notes

Chapter two: QTS holds the high school classes all in one room at the A-Ka-Lat Center in La Push, with all four grades sitting together under Dr. Bruce Cochran. However, for the purposes of this story, I have split up the grades and classes as is usual in traditional schools. Follow the link for more information on the Quileute Tribal School of La Push.

Chapter six: The Thunderbird Myth is an actual Quileute tale that tells the fascinating story of a massive bird that saves the tribe from starvation by capturing a killer whale and dropping it in the village.

Anna moves to La Push and discovers a fantasy world of wolves and vampires, straight from the legends she loves so much. Her brother, Brady, joins this mythical world by transformation; Anna enters another way. An imprinting story. Set during Eclipse.
