The only way to have a friend is to be one. Love is blind; friendship closes its eyes. An insincere and evil friend is more to be feared than a wild beast; a wild beast may wound your body, but an evil friend will wound your mind. Accept challenges, so that you may feel the exhilaration of victory. In order to be walked on, you have to be lying down. Holding on to anger, resentment and hurt only gives you tense muscles, a headache and a sore jaw from clenching your teeth. Forgiveness gives you back the laughter and the lightness in your life. | |||||
