January 23, 2010 - Big update -- New Chapter + New Story!

Yep, it's Remix, but with MAJOR revamps. And I renamed it, since it's not a remix at all, cuz remix is defined as like a "rearrangement" of an older piece. It's not a rearrangement. It's a brand new thing with the same characters. Stuff I re-did from the first time I posted it: (1) rewrote the chapter completely & changed the order of events, (2) Shadow is actually IN CHARACTER. Or well, I tried putting him in character. XD! Cuz like I said, I want to exploit (read: annoy) his actual personality.

And the reason for all this revamping is cuz when I first wrote I felt like I was trying too hard to recreate the magic of the original "Boredom" (available at my LJ up there points to 'Homepage' link), and I didn't like that feeling, so I decided to start all over with my style now. Either way I have fun writing it, bahaha... Boredom's always fun for me. No matter what.

So yeah, check those two out. If ya like it, I'd love it if you left a review. Or fav it. :D Woohoo!

It has been 6 years and 4 days since I posted that story up. (DAYUM!! SIX YEARS ALREADY?) Yeah, half of that time was the hiatus time, and the other half was just me taking forever to update. Well at least it's halfway nowadays. xD; I'll make a resolution this year. Here's my ff-net resolution for this year: once I update a story this year, I promise to update every month at the latest! I will not go over one month, no matter how busy I am... well except in case of finals, o'course. :D But yeah. That's my resolution! And Imma stick to it!

Hey guys! WITb's sixteenth chapter is doooonneee, and it's up on my document-editing-place but I'm waiting for yuumei to finish her second commission for me before I post it up. nahamut's commission however is finished so PLEASE PLEASE go check it out and give her some love -- she worked real hard on the photo and the characters look great! CHECK IT. CHECK IT NOW!!
yuumei finished the sketch so maybe one or two more weeks 'til the final thing's done. Oh yeah, and thanks for the TONS of views on WITb on the 28th of December! But why the heck are you guys on FF.Net in that date, was everyone in that weird period between x-mas and New Year's? Kekeke...
Anyway I'm sorry for the long wait, but WITb SHALL be updated soon.

Hey tharr, it's been a while.

... I'm sorry. I deleted Remix.

But not because I'm quitting it--nooo no no, far from it! It's just... I really gotta revise it. I don't want Shadow OOC anymore; it's irking me. I want to fix everything and be sure of it when I post it again, since I was kinda in an inspirational rush when I first posted it. v_v I know Shad was an oddball in the first Boredom, but I don't want him like that anymore... I found that I want to exploit his real personality instead.

XDDD!

Yeah, and not just him. The other characters as well. So yeah.
Gimme a few days or so to revise the first chapter and I'll have that back up in a jiffy! Maybe it won't be called Remix anymore. We'll see what happens. =)

As for Acceleration and WITb... aheheheahhe... finals are coming up in two weeks, but I promise that after that WITb will have a chappy update! Not so sure about Acceleration tho. Writer Background:
Ever since I joined ff-net in 2002, I've always been a lover of the humor genre, so the majority of my stories are humor, or just have a sense of it. When I was younger that's all I would write--every time I tried writing something serious it just turned out awkward, or I'd want to put a humorous scene in it. Even romantic things have a dash of crack in there somewhere. XD But as I've gotten older I've thought of a few more serious plotlines; I like action and adventure too so nowadays I'm trying to incorporate that. But of course I can't help but add some light-heartedness to it. :D
Chapter-wise, I'm one of those writers that tend to write a lot. So my chapters do tend to be long. But I try keepin' it interesting! I just have a lot I want to express and mention... ;;
I've been told that my writing style is odd. It's more like watching film with words rather than reading a book. That if someone were to animate my stories it would barely need to be edited for the storyboard because the actions are usually put out there and the dialogue well-written for speech, like a movie. Maybe because when I first started writing, it was in script form? Who knows~

But anyway, I've always written for myself and for the love of writing, to satisfy my always-plot-developing brain. I like seeing a bunch of words and paragraphs and dialogue on the screen, and knowing that my brain came up with it. XD; It's a major awesome bonus & blessing if people read & like my stuff. Like I said on March 15, 2002 at the end of We're In Hyrule, stupid!'s first chapter:
"I hope you all love it!! I DON'T CARE IF YOU HATE IT!! I WILL WRITE MORE AND MORE AND MORE AND MORE AND MORE, well, you get the picture."

But NO WORRIES, the luvey-duvey goes away early on as Link just confused his feelings for something else, and they're just good friends! Many hints between the OC's, though. But that's okay cuz they're OC's. Oh, and ignore the stupid, stupid, Author's Notes at the end of the beginning chapters, haha...
A fun, light story with a dark dramatic side. Romance, action, adventure, drama, humor... even poetry! (like, one) What else could you ask for? R+R!

The first time I posted this story it was called, "Boredom: Remix," but I changed it since it wasn't a remix at all. It's really a sequel. Haha. Also, I forced Shadow to fix his damn personality, so he's IC now. No more incredibly OOC-ness for him! Now we have the chance to exploit his true personality...!
Anyway that's all I'm saying though. It's really just a fun happy fanfic, so go read it yeah~! 8D And I do have a plot for this. I DO. Every single chapter is VITAL and CRUCIAL to the ending -- plus, it's all in paragraph form. Now FF-Net has no reason to delete it this time -- mwahahahaha!
