Author has written 12 stories for Pretender, Farscape, Fairy Tales, Harry Potter, TV X-overs, NCIS, Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter, Doctor Who, Stargate: Atlantis, Ironman, and Due South. My name is Maren, and I've been writing off an on as a hobby pretty much for as long as I can remember. Around 1999 I discovered the wonderful world of fan fiction, but I only started writing it in 2002 when I got a Live Journal account in which to display it. Since then I've written in multiple fandoms - Pretender, NCIS, Farscape, Anita Blake, Stargate Atlantis, Harry Potter, the new series of Doctor Who, and whatever else happens to tickle my fancy - my muses are equal opportunity enablers. I've also written some original stories and a mix-and-meshed multifandom crack story I lovingly refer to as Maren's Closet. I don't write much and I don't write often, and most of my work is unbetaed because I don't really have one (though not for lack of trying - if anyone is interested, feel free to let me know). However, I figured it was about time I started giving back to fandom anyway since it's given me so many hours worth of enjoyment (and procrastination). ;) I don't have a website, but all of my writings - the good, the bad, and the ugly - can be found in my writing journal at http://featheredquill.livejournal.com/. ETA May 25, 2009 It would seem that FF.net has removed the catagory for Anita Blake books, or if they haven't removed it entirely, I don't know where they moved it to. Since I know "All Kittens Have Claws (Demonic Ones Have More)" was about as popular as any of my stories get, I'm spreading the word that while it may no longer be archived here, there is still a copy in my writing journal, which is linked above.
