Just another Harry Potter fan here. I've read fan fiction for a couple years and decided to try my hand at writing.

On my main story: The Potter Conspiracy begins in the summer following Goblet of Fire, and will take us through Harry's final confrontation with Voldemort and beyond. The ship is Harry/Parvati, but romance will not be the sole focus of the story. The wizarding world is headed for civil war, and Harry will have to determine whom he can truly trust. Dumbledore will be very manipulative, but not necessarily evil. There will be plenty of action in the story, and it's rated M for violence, language, and some sexual situations. Hope you enjoy.

Right now I'm predicting 36 chapters and 270k words for the finished product. Thanks to everyone who's been reading/reviewing the story.

On future stories: I've got detailed outlines for two stories that will begin immediately following The Potter Conspiracy. One will be a post-Hogwarts comedy featuring Harry and Tonks as Auror partners. The pairing will be a casual Honks, and will hopefully be a lot of fun. The other will be a somewhat dark time travel tale, details for which I don't want to reveal at this point. Keep a look out for both of them.

My fan fiction preferences: I'll read most anything except for slash, so long as it's a well-told story. I tend to like a lot of H/Hr stories, but Harry/Luna, Harry/Fleur, and Harry/Tonks are a lot of fun as well. I admit that I can't really stand Ron/Hermione, as she doesn't deserve the punishment of being yoked to that redheaded turd.

Be sure to check out the stories in my favorites and C2. There are some excellent fics there, some of which deserve more attention from reviewers. If you enjoy authors like nonjon, jbern, jeconais, and chem prof, you'll like most of what I recommend.

You can me find me hanging out on the Dark Lord Potter forums quite a bit, but be warned: the members there don't tolerate slash, stupidity, or Ginny fangirls. It also helps to have thick skin. The DLP Library has an impressive collection of recommended fan fiction, so stop by and check it out.
