Like the rest of the chapters, I had to rewrite a great deal of it because what I originally had was just indescribably, unbelievably awful. I'm not sure what I was thinking, but I was writing 14/15/16 during my 14th birthday, so obviously my younger self was a complete idiot. There were lines in there that made my jaw drop. Anyway, thank goodness I removed everything because that writing was just embarrassing as heck. I only have approximately five more chapters of omgIcantbelieveIwrotethatcrap to edit before everything else can be rapidly uploaded again, plus the final few chapters that were never uploaded in the first place. If you would like to have a chapter permanently dedicated to you (or rather, your pen name), there's a small "challenge" at the end of Chapter 16 which you can answer. I'll keep the dedication even in the final ebook form. This is only in effect until I repost the final edit of Chapter 17. Nov 15: I updated Dare You to Live, which is officially my least popular story ever. It's rather sad and personally discouraging because I took a different approach with it and decided to go for slow and meaningful rather than your conventional high school drama, which is what's usually in the D.N. Angel fandom. If I ever write more D.N. Angel stuff, which is highly unlikely given that no one's reading it, I'll probably do a conventional high school story... If my stories are on hiatus or I update slowly, it’s not because I’ve died, but because real life is kicking my ass. Nov 9: Hey look! I'm not dead after midterms. I came back and dropped off Ch 8 of Dare You to Live. Not that anyone will care, because the fandom is beyond dead, but well, at least I tried. I honestly don't know why I'm more inspired to write stories that no one reads than the ones that are popular... October 17: The finalized Chapter 15 of BRR is now up. The Art of the Fugue, for people who follow my Anita Blake stuff, will be updated sooner or later too. JaeHo fans, I've come back. Armed with two fics - Lead and Follow and Circles and Rings. (Yes, there's a reason why they all sound similar. And Sound and Silence is meant to be loosely linked to the other two.) As for Rivaled Lust, which is being renamed, I don't know if I'm following up on that. The fact that vampires are suddenly so popular due to the damned (ahem) annoying Twilight fandom has actually done what nothing else could in my entire life. It's made me LESS interested in a genre that I've read extensively in. Status of Blood-Red Rose for Legolas I'm in the process of revising BRR for the very last time. I've changed chapter titles and actually rewrote entire parts for a more consistent quality of writing and to strengthen the characterization. In other words, this is a complete and thorough revision, not a proofreading edit. Chapters 1-16 have their final versions up. I have actually removed the rest of the chapters because of editing inconsistencies and also because Chapters 12/13 used to be combined, were split, and basically the chapter order was completely messed up.
