To Writers, especially those I've disturbed with my presence:

I don't leave reviews often. But when I do, that means I liked your story a lot, and had the time to spare. My reviews are usually long, rambling, biased commentaries, so if you're annoyed by them, just tell me and I'll stop or make them shorter.

I love getting replies. Though I might not reply back, please don't get offended.

I haven't, am not, or will ever, leave flames or flame writers, even when I'm extremely tempted to do so.

Constructive criticism will be given as PMs. If you want me to look over your work and give my honest opinion, PM me. I also beta-read if requested.

Beta Reading:

I accept: Prose only, no poetry. Short stories, WIPs, drabbles (Do you need a beta for these?), fan fiction of epic length, etc.

For basics: I'll check spelling, grammar, plot holes, consistency, flow, and word choice. Plus any other factor you want me to check.

Additional: I'll check for characterization only if I know the characters. Same goes for canon consistency.

Fandoms: Too many to mention. If I know nothing about your fic's canon, and you still want me to beta for you, I'll research on it.

There are many writers who have started out with publishing badfic and eventually improved.

Constructive criticism goes a long way towards helping new writers in honing their craft. It is not a tool for people to feel self-important. Being proud of how mean and harsh you can be while bashing a writer who may be dyslexic, young, or not have English as their first language is not really admirable. You're just being a self-important, holier-than-thou jerk.

Campaigning for literacy is more than just mass-reporting and flaming a writer who has written a fic below your so-called "standards". Do not delude yourself with thinking that by erasing all badfic out of existence, you create a better fandom space for everyone.
