He has stopped evil ghosts in their ill-minded deeds. He has exiled his arch enemy from this world. And he has saved the world three times! But is Danny and Team Phantom ready to confront a new threat that is rising through the crevices of Earth? Beings that were once thought of as legend?

They lurk within the shadows, unseen by those who cannot see. Only the ghosts and those few humans whose "soul eyes" were opened prematurely can see these dark entities. Unlike most supernatural beings--ghosts included--the full potential of their power and energy is obtained on a New Moon, when it is fatal to their victims. Only the Fenton Thermos may have some effect on them. And they hunger for no other than Danny Phantom, not only because he stands in their way but his living-dead scent attracts them. One would admit the look in their eyes were of predatory gleam.

However, with this much known about them, they are mysterious, evasive, and erratic.

And the one person who knows of them is as much of mystery as they are.
