TEMPORARY NAME - thegacktjunkie - gackt (as in camui gackt) junkie (as in 'addict'). This temp. name in honour of dear gakkun's approaching 469th birthday on july 4th, and 10 years of amazing solo work!

NAME - dishybishiemiyavi - Dishy (as in ‘good looking’), bishie (as in ‘bishounen) miyavi (if you don’t know who miyavi is then your life is meaningless. Ok, just kidding …if you don’t know who meevsie is then go find out HE’S REALLY AWESOME!).

OCCUPATION – student (college)

HOBBY – reading, music (I’m a really boring person. I firmly believe that hibernating polar bears have a more exciting time existing than I do.) – I like listening to music (my parents hate my ipod with a vengeance. They’ve also started talking to me using sign language coz I never listen to anything that is not Japanese), and singing(I’m a good singer but I sing all the time so it drives everyone nuts …hmmm…looking over this whole thing it seems like I’m quite an annoying person!)

FAVE ANIME – don’t watch too much of animax (my dad hogs the t.v. and I hog the internet so we’re even) but I’ve liked nodame cantabile, jigoku shoujo, god save our king, blackjack.

FAVE MANGA – I read a LOT of manga, lets see if I can remember them all – fushigi yugi genbu kaiden, ryu, vampire knight, midnight secretary, the one(manhua), petshop of horrors (and the new petshop too), barairo my honey, full house kiss, tsuki no shippo, Ludwig kakumei, hanatsuki hime, H2O(mahnwa)…and loads of others that I can’t think of now…

FAVE MUSIC –

Indian – hindi film music, especially A.R.Rehman’s stuff.

Japanese – loads, again! Gackt (and gacktjob – I love chacha-san!), hyde (his solo career’s the best (roentgen is sublime), but I like laruku too), miyavi, yoshiki( x japan and VUK), hide (with spread beaver),sugizo, TM Revolution (oh my god he is so cute and funny and witty and has such a great voice oh my god!), kitaro (though he’s not jrock or pop, lols!), exist trace (the most amazing female jrockers!), danger gang, ayumi hamasaki,sachi tainaka(what a sublime voice, i really like it), melody (that lady is no less talented that miyavi!), diru, D'espairsray, gazette, unsraw, alice nine(mainly coz shou is so hot, lol!), antic café (miku is kawai! i like his voice too.), lynch, vidoll, rentrer en soi, malice mizer (klaha era’s the best, though very short, unfortunately), moi dix. mois, candy spooky theatre, bucktick (atsushi's so damn hot...sigh...), ayabie, susumu hirasawa (he's electropop, though, not jrock)…and the list keeps growing as I keep discovering more and more (this is just the tip of the iceberg, I know…there’s loads more to discover!)…its so cooool, like an everlasting drug you can get addicted to forever…

Others – TVXQ, coco lee, Santana, George Michael, Dolores o riordan(cranberries), seal, stephen lynch, simon and garfunkel, panic in the disco, within temptation, nightwish, andrea bocelli, enya, black eyed peas(some stuff), nickelback, tose proeski, tatu,evanescence, linkin park, puscifer, katy perry, shakira…and others that I have kinda lost track of coz I’m so into jrock these days.

FAVE BOOKS – too many to list, so I won’t get into it but my favourite genres are – fantasy/magic(harry potter! and LOTR. Also eragon etc), magic realism(rushdie, marquez, joanne harris), genteel(lols!) romance with good quality comedy ( I mean stuff like georgette heyer), Victorian novels (austen, the brontes etc), chick-lit which is not too trashy/dumb(like sophie kinsella’s stuff), crime (like Christie and p.d.james), some horror (like Hitchcock), mythology (Hindu, Christian, Greek are the only ones I’ve explored properly till date). Lots of Indian stuff too – but most of the Bengali and Hindi stuff I’ve read is translated into English coz I’m most comfortable with English (I feel terribly guilty about this), even though I can read Bengali, Hindi and a bit of Tamil too.

FAVE JROCKER- GACKT CAMUI is the hottest thing that’s ever happened to this planet – indisputably, unquestionably, unarguably. There’s so much to him that I don’t even know where to start. Actually, a lot has been said about him already by the thousands of fan sites littering the internet. So I’ll just talk about why he’s the source of inspiration for almost all my fanfic. It s coz gackt can be everything and anything. He can be a total genius one minute (just hear his music and you’ll know what I mean) and ‘goofiness personified’ the next (watch gakkun in moonchild!). He seems sensible and mature and tender and kindhearted one minute, and a bloody sexist arrogant @#!& the next! He’s extremely malleable, so that's why -

MY RECIPE FOR A PERFECT FANFIC -

INGREDIENTS –

1. One Gackt.
2. As many supernatural / mythological creatures you can think of.

METHOD –

1. take one gackt
2. throw him into a crazy situation with load of dangerous monsters and even more dangerous fangirls.
3. sit back and watch him react (you may want to have some popcorn, meanwhile)
4. note down his reactions, movements and words – including all the singing, screaming, running for his life, fighting, (failed attempts at) dancing and flirting that he indulges in.
5. garnish with an interesting summary
6. serve hot!

Your fanfic’s ready!

BUT SERIOUSLY SPEAKING... this is what i really feel about gackt - it's a beautiful, intensely romantic poem by W.B.Yeats, and it conveys the yearning that the a lowly fan like me feels for a lofty idol like gackt...

FETISH – When it comes to men, I have a ‘neck’ fetish, ie, I always notice the neck (yeah I know I’m weird.). The hottest neck – miyavi. I mean, oh my god, just look at the pic I’ve used for my profile! Also, Johnny depp and hrithik roshan have nice necks. also you-san from gacktjob. Hyde has a very nice neck –it’s so delicate and pretty, like a porcelain figurine! I’m seriously out of my senses I can’t believe I’m discussing this! 8D !
