Author has written 16 stories for Chronicles of Narnia.

Hello all! Usually people tend to leave a little information about themselves. I suppose I should follow this rule.

IMPORTANT: If you're checking my profile now, it's probably to see if I've updated any stories. I haven't and I won't be able to for an indefinite amount of time. My Mum has asked me to stop going on this site and, as I respect her wishes, I am complying. So this is good-bye for a while, at least until I get permission to visit and write again. I have not abandoned any of my stories, but there will probably be a wait. I will finish them. Thank you to everyone that I have met on FF. It may sound corny, but: "I love you all!" And if there was a loophole, I would dive through it. I'm sorry. Thanks again. :)

P.S. I'm sorry if you are waiting on an email. I won't be able to write one, now. :(

Look at my avatar! Isn't it wonderful? I love Pauline Bayne's illustrations for the Chronicles of Narnia, so finding this in a random search was pretty neat.

My name? Not important. If I know you, I will tell you.

Gender? Puella sum.

Age? Somewhere between the region of 10-100.

Nationality? Not important.

Likes? Ahh, now here I can elaborate. I love God, my family and friends. I like drawing, music, beating a certain family member at chess, scrabble, the wonderful books know as "The Chronicles of Narnia", my Ipod, my collection of fiction, the smell of rain, lying in bed and listening to the rain, swimming, making those I love laugh, my comb and shampoo bottle, the textbook which contains my short stories and poetry, people who make me happy, Skandar Keynes (awesome actor), the last day of school, making friends, meeting people, my birthday, people who remember my birthday (...), Christmas Eve, talking, eating fruit salad and cream, visiting places I've never seen, weddings, smiles, love.

Dislikes? Gossip, being the one gossiped about, being unhappy, yelling, frowns, unfriendly sarcasm, false smiles, low self-esteem, being left out, rejection, frustration, washing dishes, losing at chess, losing a friend (may he R.I.P), being short, swearing, immorality, slang, loud noise in the morning, getting in trouble, early mornings, homework, feeling sick, bed-hair, know-it-alls, brussel sprouts, bad spelling, smelly socks, brothers who wear smelly socks, too-small-shoes, the smell of beer, rain on a day when it isn't wanted, migraines.

Books: I'm a fan of classical literature. It's all I read. I don't get into the modern stuff. What I do read is work by the following authors: C. S. Lewis (obviously), J. R. R. Tolkien, Howard Pyle, L. M. Montgomery, Charles Dickens, J. M. Barrie, Louisa M. Alcott, R. L. Stevenson, Laura Ingalls Wilder, Jane Austen, Baroness Orczy, Oscar Wilde - the list goes on.

Did you know? That swearing is a sign of a bad vocabulary?

The Babbling Brook ©

This, my lovelies, is my place of babbling. Not a rant, people, just a place for me to -well- let loose a little bit and... babble. Do you want to know what I love? People. I couldn't live if I wasn't surrounded by people. I'd go crazy. I'm probably sounding crazy at the moment. Loneliness is a thing I dread. I never want to be alone. I never want to have to face tomorrow without a shoulder to cry on, or a voice to listen to and argue with. I never want to wake up depressed and think:

"Another day to struggle through. I can't wait until tomorrow. Maybe tomorrow will be better..."

I want to always greet each morning with an enthusiasm for life and a feeling of being loved. I want to be the person who shouts:

"I want this day to never end!"

Just because I love life.

Why?

Because people are life.

I just recently discovered Fanfiction. As of yet I only read the fandoms of:The Chronicles of Narnia, Anne of Green Gables, and Lord of the Rings. Why? They are the only ones that interest me, as of yet.

I LOVE all things Narnia. I have written several fics in that fandom and wish to take this opportunity to thank all those who have taken the time to review. I shall be forever in your debt.

Anonymous reviews. I usually don't bother to log in, resulting in the majority of my reviews being anonymous. I will sign my name at the end of a review, however. Feel free to pm me on this account, as I do check my inbox periodically.

Random Quotes:

If you deny Life, life will deny you ~ Myself (on the subject of abortion).

Never let a fool kiss you ... and never let a kiss fool you ~ Unknown - but I think it's awesome!

Roses are red; violets are blue; I'll love you a lot if you review! (In a purely platonic way, of course) ~ Myself

"The Duchess dove at the Duke just when the Duke dove at the Doge. Now the Duke ducked, the Doge dodged, and the Duchess didn't. So the Duke got the Duchess, the Duchess got the Doge, and the Doge got the Duke!" ~ The Court Jester (Now, try saying that really fast while on a sugar high...)

Mass is not a social event ... and it is most definitely NOT a rock concert. ~ Myself, after accidentally attending a loud and rather intimidating Youth Mass.

"No ... I am your father! or sister! or brother!" ~ Random Quote that turns up a lot at my house. Originally from Star Wars.

"Frankly, my dear, don't let the door catch you on the way out." ~ Myself, after watching Gone With the Wind. The most disappointing movie ending in history, in my opinion.

To die would be an awfully big adventure ... but I'm not the adventurous type. ~ Myself, after reading Peter Pan.

Daily/Weekly/Monthly rant:

Topic of today: People who think that, just because you're a teenager, you need a love life. A.K.A The Matchmaker!

I mean, come on people! Has this ever happened to you? The not-so-subtle hints, the cryptic remarks, the secretive smiles. The enthralling conversations consisting of: "Did you see him touch her hand?"... "My, someone's got herself an admirer."..."Red's your colour, dearie ... I'm sure whats-his-face- will like it." or, my personal favourite... "Look! She's blushing!" The blush was not one of embarrassment, dear people, but one of slight anger. I appreciate it, I really do; but sometimes it just gives me the very frustrating impression that they think I can't handle all that rot myself. When I'm ready I'll find myself a husband. Until then, however, I'd really just love to be a normal teenage girl not obsessing over her appearance, her character, or if "this outfit will make him think I'm totally hot." I'm an old-fashioned girl ... and proud of it!

26/6/09: I found out about the death of Michael Jackson this morning. At only fifty years of age, he was too young to die. The world has just lost a musical genius - a genius who influenced the musical world, in my opinion, more then any other musician. Rest in Peace, Mr. Jackson.

I am a Christian.

I do not tolerate anything which compromises my faith.

I will not read anything which I find offensive.

Girls
are like
apples on trees.
The best ones are
at the top of the tree. The
boys dont want to reach
for the good ones because they
are afraid of falling and getting hurt.
Instead, they just get the rotten apples
from the ground that aren't as good,
but easy. So the apples at the top think
something is wrong with them, when in
reality, they're amazing. They just
have to wait for the right boy to
come along, the one who's
brave enough to
climb all
the way
to the top
of the tree

Month one

Mommy
I am only 8 inches long
but I have all my organs.
I love the sound of your voice.
Every time I hear it
I wave my arms and legs.
The sound of your heart beat
is my favorite lullaby.

Month Two

Mommy
today I learned how to suck my thumb.
If you could see me
you could definitely tell that I am a baby.
I'm not big enough to survive outside my home though.
It is so nice and warm in here.

Month Three

You know what Mommy
I'm a boy!
I hope that makes you happy.
I always want you to be happy.
I don't like it when you cry.
You sound so sad.
It makes me sad too
and I cry with you even though
you can't hear me.

Month Four

Mommy
my hair is starting to grow.
It is very short and fine
but I will have a lot of it.
I spend a lot of my time exercising.
I can turn my head and curl my fingers and toes
and stretch my arms and legs.
I am becoming quite good at it too.

Month Five

You went to the doctor today.
Mommy, he lied to you.
He said that I'm not a baby.
I am a baby Mommy, your baby.
I think and feel.
Mommy, what's abortion?

Month Six

I can hear that doctor again.
I don't like him.
He seems cold and heartless.
Something is intruding my home.
The doctor called it a needle.
Mommy what is it? It burns!
Please make him stop!
I can't get away from it!
Mommy! HELP me!

Month Seven

Mommy
I am okay.
I am in Jesus's arms.
He is holding me.
He told me about abortion.
Why didn't you want me Mommy?

Every Abortion Is Just . . .

One more heart that was stopped.
Two more eyes that will never see.
Two more hands that will never touch.
Two more legs that will never run.
One more mouth that will never speak.

What kind of society accepts and encourages the slaughter of those innocents who can not lift their voices in their own defence? What kind of society kills a baby? Something so precious and vulnerable? Abortion is never the option. No exceptions.

Awesome People who have Befriended Me:

To all the friends I have made on Fanfiction: MyBlueOblivion (who gave me my first review and is a pretty fantastic person ... although he takes forever to reply to my messages :hint, hint, nudge, nudge:); LadyJillPole (she gave me my second review and is a very patient person who puts up with me even when I rant. Thanks Jill! You're such a dear friend!); unicorn-skydancer08 (who has continued to review my stories even when I unintentionally neglect hers. Sorry unicorn! I'm getting to them! She's great and I suggest reading her stories if you love Tumnus. She's the number one author in that field.); A Girl Called Tennessee (Love ya to bits, Tennessee! You're such a lovely person to correspond with! I wouldn't have written eleven stories and counting without your continual support and cheerful messages.); Violet Fire Krazed (a slightly crazy girl who is almost as random as me! She's Elvish, apparently . You know you're a star, Violet; there's no need for me to inflate your already inflated ego. Just kidding :shifty eyes:) Hachoo (haven't talked to this author in a while, but she's offered me a lot of support and encouragement in the form of reviews. Thanks so much!) King Caspian the Seafarer (what can I say? Amazing author who not only reviewed a few of my stories, but also answers every review I send him.); Vrangr (she's a wonderful person and I encourage you to read any one of her stories.); Eriphi (fantastic Author whose stories inspire me in my writing. They're great. She's also a lovely person to talk to!); and finally, last but not least, my brother: Airvortex (who hasn't posted anything yet, and won't unless I pressure him. He's pretty awesome ... if he'd only get over his conquer the world scheme ...). If I have have accidentally left out your name, and you feel that you should be on this list, don't hesitate to PM me, and scold me about it.

Wow. You got to the end of my profile? Good job ... although you know it's not going to get any shorter.

In Christ,

~ Rose and Thorn
