About Me-

I wouldn't be on the site if I wasn't two things- An obsessive writer and a movie nut.

I've been writing ever since I was five years old, my first original story being a cross-over between The Little Mermaid and Cinderella (basically taking the plot of the latter, and putting it in the realm of the former). So I guess you can say I've never been particulary original.

Most of my own work falls more in a category like Gregory Maguire, where I'm inspired by other source material and from that I create my own stories and universes.

Now to explain my movie-nuttyness- I was raised on Disney, just like most kids of the nineties, and I've always been a person for whom habits die hard, which is why to this day I'm still an avid Disney fan. My favorite movies were The Little Mermaid and Mary Poppins, which is still the case (while I've added others to that list), and Julie Andrews remains my number one favorite actress of all time.

Last year, I discovered Turner Classic Movies and nowadays that's where I spend most of my viewing time- there or History Channel when they actually have something worthwhile on.

I think it's natural that my writing and my love of film (and Julie Andrews) has kind of combined, and I often find my mind cluttered with ideas when watching a film or reading a book. Thank God for those ideas because they allow me to get general feedback and allow me to hone my skills as a writer because I can post them on the Web. I would never do that with any of my original work.

Thanks for visiting my page or for reading one of my fanfictions! Have a good day!
