Author has written 9 stories for Twilight, Death Note, and Fruits Basket. Another short message to whoever cares : I'm back. Somewhat. School is evil and killing me slowly. And I made some updates and changes to TEMPTATIONS. See note at the bottom of my profile for more info. Hmm. What to say.. what to say... ?? I'm a (inset age here) year old girl, made in Ontario, Canada. I don't watch too much T.V., but when I do it's most likely West Wing or a design show. I also love watching anime, but since that's on my computer it doesn't count as T.V. I'm addicted to books. My favourites depend on what I've read lately, but I'll always love anything by Tamora Pierce. I'm a hopeless romantic. Emphasis on hopeless. I love musical theater. I'm really big on singing and acting and the arts in general. I play a lot of different instruments, some with the school and some for fun. I used to take lessons in guitar, singing and piano until school and extra-curricular activites took over my life. Seriously. School is evil that way. Hmm.. Back to the books thing. I'm absolutely in love Sophie Kinsella right now. She's hilarious, and if you haven't read a book by her yet - and you like really funny romantic thingies - you seriously need to right now. The "Drama!" series by Paul Ruditis is good for a laugh too, though there is considerably less romance in those books. IF YOU LIKE SUPERNATURAL, check out my friend ApplePieeLovver's stories. They are the essence of amazingness... :) Mkay. Now I'm going to paste one of those long spiels with a good message thingers in here. 'Tis about homophobia and the supreme suckitude of it. Yes, I just said supreme suckitude. I don't know where that came from, since that sounds so weird and ... yeah, rambling now. Okay, here the thinger; I am the girl kicked out of her home because I confided in my mother that I am a lesbian. I am the prostitute working the streets because nobody will hire a transsexual woman. I am the sister who holds her gay brother tight through the painful, tear-filled nights. We are the parents who buried our daughter long before her time. I am the man who died alone in the hospital because they would not let my partner of twenty-seven years into the room. I am the foster child who wakes up with nightmares of being taken away from the two fathers who are the only loving family I have ever had. I wish they could adopt me. I am one of the lucky ones, I guess. I survived the attack that left me in a coma for three weeks, and in another year I will probably be able to walk again. I am not one of the lucky ones. I killed myself just weeks before graduating high school. It was simply too much to bear. We are the couple who had the realtor hang up on us when she found out we wanted to rent a one-bedroom for two men. I am the person who never knows which bathroom I should use if I want to avoid getting the management called on me. I am the mother who is not allowed to even visit the children I bore, nursed, and raised. The court says I am an unfit mother because I now live with another woman. I am the domestic-violence survivor who found the support system grow suddenly cold and distant when they found out my abusive partner is also a woman. I am the domestic-violence survivor who has no support system to turn to because I am male. I am the father who has never hugged his son because I grew up afraid to show affection to other men. I am the home-economics teacher who always wanted to teach gym until someone told me that only lesbians do that. I am the man who died when the paramedics stopped treating me as soon as they realized I was transsexual. I am the person who feels guilty because I think I could be a much better person if I did not have to always deal with society hating me. I am the man who stopped attending church, not because I don't believe, but because they closed their doors to my kind. I am the person who has to hide what this world needs most, love. I am the person who is afraid of telling his loving Christian parents he loves another male. Copy and paste into your profile if you think homophobia is wrong! MY gosh. Homophobia is really quite terrible. It doesn't just affect the people it is directed at. It has an impact on everyone. If you've ever even slightly changed your behaviour or style or whatever because you were afraid someone might thing you were gay, you know what I mean. It's so dumb, too.. because everyone has feelings, and people are people no matter what they are labelled as. Honestly, in a religion class ABOUT PREJUDICE these kids sitting behind were talking about how people "shouldn't be gay on the street" or hold hands when anyone is watching. And that they shouldn't get married and all this other crap that was incredibly ignorant and just made me want to whack them on the head with something either large or heavy... preferably BOTH. RAWR! NOTES ABOUT STORIES Temptations: Okay, so I deleted the last chapter ("Decisions") and made some minor changes to "Sleepless in Forks". Basically, I finished it up in that chapter, because it was dragging and I found out a better way to end the story. I'm sorry to everyone who wanted me to continue (trust me when I say it would have gotten worse, not better). Check out the updates, if you want to. There's more information about what I changed and ... you know, the actual ending ... in the actual file thing. Hope you like the changes. If you've actually taken the time to read all of this, you're awesome. Have a nice rest of your day! | |||||||||
