My name is Amethyst Turtle (you may call me Amy, though that isn't my real name)

And my current interests are Teen Titans, One Piece, Bleach, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Wolf's Rain, Pokemon, and Ben 10 (Alien Force).
As of now, my interest in One Piece is pushing away my love for Teen Titans, so I probably won't be working on my TT stuff as often.

My avatar is Mayuri Kurotsuchi, captain of the 12th division of Bleach. He's such an interesting character. I hate his sadism and indifference to others' suffering, but at the same time, I love his intelligence and wittiness. Plus, he can regenerate limbs and has the freakiest Zanpakuto ever. Badass! He needs more fangirls, in my opinion. There's too many Byakuya fangirls. Ugh.

Why is it, that in the One Piece fanfic archives, that most of the stories are either self-insertions or yaoi? WHY?! Where did the meaning of Nakama go?

One thing about TT that annoys me is how nearly EVERY SINGLE RobStar supporter says "Youv gottsa admit, dey looks kewt togezah!!11!"
You know what? Fine. I'll admit it. Teyz look coot togezors!! Happy?

On Terra: Personally, I had no problem with Terra. Though she was sort of a Mary Sue, I still didn't exactly hate her. I actually think that BB/Terra is a bit cuter than BB/Rae.
What I can't stand is all those Terra-haters who interpret her as a slut intent on destroying Raven and brainwashing Beast Boy into becoming her loyal bitch. Those are just irritating and downright disturbing.

Grammar and spelling is very important in my opinion. I don't care if there's just a few minor slips, but when the entire story is unreadable, that's where I get annoyed.

My biggest pet peeve is when (TT) people make Starfire say 'friend insertnamehere.' Go watch a couple episodes. Tell me if she does that or not. You'll see. YOU'LL ALL SEE.

Character bashing is a no-no.

Blackfire is cool, and not interested in stealing Robin from Starfire. She is not a slut nor a whore. She just hates Starfire and has rather murderous tendencies. Go figure.

Pairing Wars make no sense to me. I do support some pairings, but I probably won't write a story on Romance for a long, long time.

I don't like it when people blackmail for reviews.

I'm normally against OCs, but I'm actually okay with those that are unique and original in their own way. But please, please don't make them the sibling of a canon character. It irritates me to the point of wanting to stick a fork in my arm. Pokemon OCs are another matter, since I'm not that interested in the canon characters in that fandom.

It annoys me when people write "summary sux, but story is awesome!11!!1" in their summaries. It's not that hard to write a decent summary, you know. And it makes the author look rather overconfident when they state that their story is "teh pwnz"

I can't stand people who can't handle constructive criticism, or interpret it as a flame. There's a huge gap between flames and concrit, you know?

Another pet peeve: People who write 'lol' at the end of every fricken sentence. What's so funny, huh? HUH?

That thing that says '98 percent of teens has tried smoking pot/drinking alcohol, only 2 percent haven't' is pure cow shit. Whoever made that copy/paste line up made no research whatsoever and is probably a senior citizen who hates every single teenager. If that line is true, then just about all of my friends are stoners and have no lives. And just about every person who actually pasted that stupid "fact" in their profile probably never took one of those Anti-drug seminars in school. If I remember correctly, less than 1 in 5 high school seniors actually smoke weed.

OKAY, seriously. Flying with Albatrosses has OVER TWENTY alerts, and only nine or ten actually left a review, even if it was a short review. WHAT IS UP WITH YOU SILENT READERS?!
To avoid being a hypocrite and to prove a point, I'm going back to review every single story on my favorites list.
COME ON, PEOPLE!

I don't know how I got into Fanfiction. Very strange indeed.

My favorite genre is Parody. 4 Da Lulz!

My least favorite genre is probably Angst.

I always try to review every story I read, because I think it's common courtesy to let the author how you feel about what they wrote. I will flame if I feel the writer needs some sense burned into them. But usually, I aim for constructive criticism.

I've decided to delete "Another Stormy Night." I reread it, and it's pointless. The plot was pointless, the idea was pointless, and it was just plain boring. SO boring.

I'm a very picky person, unfortunately. For some reason, every OC story I read sends off the Mary Sue alarm in my head. Yeah. I have issues.

When I'm not on FF, I'm usually on Youtube or Deviantart. Or doing my homework. Which I should really be spending more time on.

I don't like yaoi that much, but I'm fine with yuri.

I can be very blunt when it comes to reviews. You have been warned.

I enjoy making fun of Mary Sues. That should be pretty evident by now.

My favorite anime character evah would have to be Nico Robin (FTW!). She needs more one-on-one fights... but they would probably be short, since she would just break her enemy's spine in half before they could even blink.

I feel that writing in first person in a canon character's POV takes a lot of skill and practice, which is why I've never done it and don't plan on doing it anytime soon. I can't name a lot of fics that can truly capture a character's personality in first person without having too much of the author him/herself mixed in there. If you think that your story is that good, or you know a fic that does do CC POV nicely, I'd like to read it. Really.

Reviews are greatly appreciated in any of my stories. Please try to put a little thought in it. Don't just say "It's really great plz update soon!" Put a little more of your opinions into your review. I like hearing other people's opinions.

I don't care what people say. My motivation comes from reviews, even if they tell me that I suck. I guess I just like being acknowledged.
