My old user name on here was Booki McNerd. I've replaced it in favor of my more current persona, Rayni Shadowsong: sprite, geek, bibliophile, adventurer, grammar & diction ninja, nonconformist. I'm twenty and in my third year of university. My passions:

-Jesus is my life. He's everything to me.

-I'm obsessive about books. I collect them in softcover and mactac them so the covers will be in good shape forever, and then I lend them out to everyone I know. I always have like thirty books lent out at any given time. (Forty-five at time of writing this.) If I had to have a favorite it might be J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan. My genre is fantasy, and I dream of being an author someday and illustrating my own books.

-Video games. Typical girl gamer: Tetris, DDR, and I love a good plot. I believe the best game of all time is Chrono Trigger, and close behind it Tales of Symphonia. The SNES has a special place in my heart. The Seiken Densetsu series, Secret of Evermore, Super Mario RPG, Chrono Cross, Grandia, FF Tactics, Golden Sun, and Tales of Eternia are some other games I've played and loved.

-In school I enjoy art and English.

-I'm into anime and manga, especially Fullmetal Alchemist and Fruits Basket. FMA has such a creative world, and Furuba has such a depth of feeling. I cry. =)

-DC comics. The Bat family is amazing, I love them all, although Tim and Cassie are my favorites.

-I love fonts and computer graphics.

-I frequently post to my livejournal.

Well, so far I have one fic up on Chrono Cross, which I wrote like three years ago and I'm no longer proud of; one fic for Tales of Symphonia; and a recent one for CC. I'm not much of a fanfiction writer... I've got a lot of ideas for an original story, and I'm absorbed in that.
