Author has written 26 stories for Harry Potter, Merlin, and Twilight. Salutations! My name is Kaitlyn, but don't except me to tell you my last name. ;P I've been reading fan fiction for a of couple years now and thought that I'd give writing it a whirl. I don't claim to be the wittiest or most talented author, but I promise to do my best. I write for my own amusement, and with luck, for that of others on this site as well. Hopefully you will enjoy what you read of my work. :) A little more about myself: I am currently in grade twelve at a French first language school, though my maternal tongue is English. Also, while I may be graduating this year, I've decided to take a "Victory Lap", which for any of you don't know, means an extra year at Secondary School. Yay me, eh? ;P After this, I need to get a BA (Bachelor of Arts) as well as a Bed (Bachelor of Education) at University, which should take about four or five years, then I'm off to teacher' college of another two years (maybe?). I would like to be a kindergarten teacher. I think it suits my personality, and I absolutely adore working with children; I find it to be so fulfilling and they are simply adorable. :) Plus, nap time! XD I should probably mention that I love fruits, vegetables, vegetarian sushi (though I am by no means a vegetarian, raw fish just does not seem tasty to me...or cooked fish for that matter...or any type of seafood really, though escargot is yummy in garlic butter and melted mozzarella cheese, and clam chowder is always good...and darn, I'm making myself hungry), any and all types of soup, most vibrant colours, though blue has always been my favorite (I suspect that is because my eyes are blue), and speaking of favorites, I enjoy cold pizza in the mornings, and my favorite ice cream flavour is grape. :3 Also, I do NOT love chocolate. Don't get me wrong, it's okay...but definitely not my favorite thing. And somehow this section which is supposed to be about me has turned into my likes and dislikes food-wise, but that's okay. ;) Oh, and I tend to have my foot in my mouth a lot (figure of speech obviously :P ), and I'm a total dunce when it comes to computers. Things always seem to get erased, and such...even if I save the work repeatedly and take tons of precautionary steps...I've come to the conclusion that computers just don't like me. That pretty much covers the basics. Oh, and I love slash. Grins. Age: I am currently seventeen years old, though I've been told by people on this site that I write as though I am older... I'm honestly not sure if that is a good thing or not. Ah well. I suppose it is because I have picked up the tendency to refer to people as 'love' and 'hun'... But cut me some slack people, I'm an only child, and was mostly around adults when I was younger... Toss in the fact that my mother was an English teacher at some point, and my love for reading from an early age, and you have the way I express myself. And I love how I actually just explained that to you all... Though I somewhat doubt anyone would read my little blurb, so meh. Gender: If you haven't figured it out by now, I possess the XX chromosomes. Hence, I am female. :P DOB (Date Of Birth): The 8th of November 1992. Nationality: I am Canadian, but before you start assuming anything about me and/or my personality, behavior and such, please read the following: I do NOT love hockey, nor am I Native American, or live in an igloo and I've only been on a dogsled once (and it was a horribly bumpy and uncomfortable experience which I do not plan to experience again). I do not wrestle polar bears for fun (or at all), and it does not snow all year. We have four very distinct seasons thank you very much. Though we do tend to say 'eh' without really thinking about it... Sexuality: I suppose you could say that I am bi-curious... Hogwarts House: While I am intelligent, brave and cunning, I'm a total Hufflepuff. :) My favorite characters: Severus Snape, the yummy but dark and misunderstood potions master and all around snarky git. Characters I dislike: Albus Dumbledore, as he's a manipulative berk who uses people. All for the greater good, of course. Sneers. My fan fiction mission: I'm tired of finding dozens if not more stories that all have the same pairing, plot and such. So I've taken it upon myself to attempt to write stories in which the pairings are less common, and the plot hopefully more original. In my opinion, recycled plots are hardly ever as satisfying to read. SHAMELESS PROMOTION TIME! ;P Since my becoming an official member of this site, I have met a couple people through this site that I consider as friends. They are: Embirsiphonlilathia, whom I now consider as the sibling I never had. I love you hun! HUGGLES! KalaKitsune, a great friend that is easy to talk to and whom I'm very glad to have had the pleasure to "meet". WalkInTheGarden, a sweet girl, and good friend to which I send an infinite amount of huggles. :3 Concealed Convict, who is wonderfully sarcastic but sadly lives in Ireland (sadly, because he's so far away!). And you know what that means ladies and gentlemen: he has a sexy Irish accent. :) He's so modest about his wonderfulness too. ;P Hint, hint Go check out their stories. Cough, cough Excuse me, I seem to be coming down with something... ;D As you have probably just begun to notice, all of my stories are currently being re-worked. Sighs. I realize that most of the chapters I have given you all up to date are rather short, and still have some errors in them... So I decided to re-write and improve them. Grins. I plan on finishing all of the stories completely before posting them, so it may (nay WILL) take some time... For that, I apologize, but I hope that it will be well worth it in the end. :D On another note, reviews make me feel really special and appreciated, and help motivate me to write more stories.
